| This saga starts out after the Garlic Jr. Saga which I did not summarize since nothing major really happens in it. But Goku still has not returned to earth and all of the Z warriors start to feel the presence of Freeza's Ki!!! So Gohan, Kuririn,Tenshinhan, Chaozu, Yamcha, Vegeta (who came back to earth) and Bulma go to check it out. And they were right Freeza has come to Earth for revenge and he brought someone with an even greater ki than his own, his father King Cold. They land and Freeza knows that Goku is on his way back to earth but it will take him 3 hours to get back so Freeza decides to let his men go out and exterminate everybody on Earth. Veget tells everybody that the earth is doomed but suddenly all of Freeza's men are sliced in half. A teenager appears and vows to defeat Freeza and his father King Cold. Sudden ly the teen turns Super Saiyan and slices Freeza with his sword and then takes care of King Cold with a Ki Blast to the chest. Everybody goes to see who he is and Vegeta gets extremely jealous now that he knows another person has surpass his power. The teenager tells everybody that he is going to wait for Goku and does anyone want to join him. They all ask him questions but he can't answer any of them for some reason he chooses not too. Vegeta keeps staring at him(with a dirty look of course) and Bulma and Kuririn notice that he looks a lot like Vegeta.
Goku shows up in Commander Ginyu's spacepod (that's how he escaped the destruction of Namek) just like the teenager said he would. He is surprized that everybody knew where he would land and he asks what happened to Freeza and they introduce the teenager who killed him. He goes to talk to Goku alone and first he tests Goku's strength and is surprized. He then tells him that he's from the future and that he is Vegeta and Bulma's son!!!! His name is Trunks and in his future he is earth's only hope since everybody else is killed by Artificial Humans that will appear 3 years from now on May 12 at around 10:00 am. He tells Goku will die of a viral heart disease and won't get to fight the Androids so he gives him medicine to take for it that came from the future. Trunks tells Goku to train and if he lives he'll meet him on the day the Androids will arrive. Trunks leaves in his time machine and Goku explains how he escaped from Namek and the planet he visited afterward where he learned a new technique called Instantaneous Movement. He tells them about the Androids with the help of Piccolo since he overheard the whole conversation. And everybody goes to train.
3 years later everybody meets at the island the Androids are supposed to attack first, even Bulma who is now carrying a baby named Trunks. The Androids appear and Goku starts fighting but gets caught up between fighting and that heart diease Trunks told him about. (The future has changed somehow due to Trunks time travel) Vegeta saves Goku since he was watching the fight and becomes a Super Saiyan!!!! Vegeta disposes of #19 android and Piccolo fights #20 Android and rips off his arm which forces the Android to flee to the laboratory. Bulma sees this android and realizes that it is Dr. Gero the creator of the Androids. He has somehow cloned himself. Trunks shows again (the future Trunks) and sees the head of #19 and realizes that they are fighting the wrong androids. He says they are suposed to be fighting one who looks like a girl and wears clothes much like his own and another one who looks like a young man with long black hair. Eventually Dr. Gero makes it too his lab and activates them (they are numbers 17(they boy) and 18(the girl) Dr, Gero gets killed by #17 also) Then those 2 activate another android that Dr. Gero told they shouldn't. He is very big and they find out he wasn'st made from a human base but from nothing at all. All of the Z warriors are defeated by #17 and #18 even Vegeta. This causes Piccolo to go to his last resort that he did not want to use to defeat the Androids. Goku is still recovering fromm his heart disease. Also when #17 told #16(the one who was made from nothing at all) to fight the Z Warriors he refused to and just watched the birds. After the Z warriors are defeated the Androids start a little game in trying to find Goku(since that is who they were programmed to kill) Kuririn trys to plead with them to stop but they don't and he gets a kiss on the check from #18. The androids continue to steal and kill while looking for Goku but then Gohan, Trunks and Bulma find a mysterious egg in a time machine and Trunks becomes terrified....
