WILD IN THE STREETS
Wild In The Streets

In this competly unrealistic but fun and entertaining movie, teenage rebel Max Flatow has grown tired of life in suburbia with his domineering mother and weak-willed father. Having saved up 800 dollars he earned by selling home-brewed LSD to his schoolmates, he blows up the family car with a makeshift bomb and strikes out on his own. A few years later, Max has adopted the last name Frost, and is one of the world's biggest rock stars, selling millions of records and earning a fortune from concert appearances and music publishing. Wry social commentary and changing political situations are examined at length in this dramatic comedy. Max is encouraged by Senator Fergus to mobilize the youth of America into registering to vote in the upcoming election. In response to the Senator's encouragemnt, he promptly lowers the voting age to fourteen and throws everyone thirty and over in adult internment camps where they're fed LSD. Soon the balance of power shifts to the teenagers as Max Frost becomes President of the United States. One very important question I have about this movie is what happens when Max reaches thirty? Overall, this is deffently a must see for anyone in the mood for a comedy or for someone who likes political films.
