V FOR VENDETTA V For Vendetta

From the pages of David Lloyd and Alan Moore's groundbreaking graphic novel springs the enigmatic "V", a masked freedom fighter who's taken up arms against the totalitarian government in a futuristic Britain. Finding an unlikely ally in a young woman named Evey Hammond, V urges the citizenry to fight the oppression of the state. This is a good film with good acting particually from Natalie Portman. I'm not a fan of hers, but I find that she does better in a real setting - Garden State, V For Vendetta - unlike the fake settings Episodes I-III of the Star Wars saga. She really got herself out of that mess. The other thing I didn't like about this film is that V wears a mask so you can't see his facial expressions. This hurts the actors preformance emmencely. Other than that, this is a great film that you only watch once.
