Tom Welling was born on April 26, 1977 in New York. He went to high school at Okemos High School in Okemos, Michigan, where he graduated in 1995. Tom did some modeling for the Louisa Modeling agency and then got his first big break, playing Rob the karate instructor in several episodes of Judging Amy. He also has made appearances on Special Unit 2 and Undeclared. Tom made his big screen movie debut in Cheaper By The Dozen and reprized his role in a sequel. He's also in a remake of The Fog. In his spare time, Tom enjoys reading, playing basketball with friends and running. Tom got married to his wife, Jamie, in the summer of 2002 after a four year relationship. Also, it seams at every convention, some girl in the audience will ask him out on a date. When this happens, Tom simply reaches for his cell phone to ask permission from his wife. Tom currently lives in Los Angeles, but during filming, he stays in Vancouver. Also, despite rumors, he wasn't considered for the part of Superman in the film Superman Returns.
