In 1930s New York City, the purple-clad Phantom's longtime effort to crush a culture of evil pits him - and his dashing alter ego, Kit Walker - against megalomaniacal villain Xander Drax. This is a fun and entertaining movie that is extremly cheezy in both plot and diologe. The cheziest line was "I think us girls should stick together." However, despite all this, there was one interesting (if cliche) aspect to the film - one of the villians, a woman, switches sides and I was impressed at her fighting. Overall, this is a fun movie, but you will probably will only watch it once. It is nowhere near as good as The Shadow.
