The People VS. Larry Flynt
Notorious pornographer Larry Flynt carries his free-speech campaign from lowly strip clubs to the U.S. Supreme Court. Intertwining details of the Hustler publisher's legal battles with scenes from his personal and professional life, this film also examines Flynt's relationships with his lawyer and drug-addicted wife. This was an very interesting movie which featured solid acting, writing and directing. There are two side notes to this film. The first is that the real Larry Flynt makes a cameo appearance in the movie as a judge. The second is that in real life Flynt had three lawyers - (one for each trial) - as opposed to one, which actually makes more sense. They just simplified if for the film.
