THE DARK KNIGHT
The Dark Knight

Batman teams with Lieutenant James Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent to continue dismantling Gotham City's criminal organizations. But a psychotic new villain known as the Joker threatens to undo all their good work. I enjoyed the Joker and thought that Heath Ledger did a great job portraying him. I also thought that Aaron Eckhart did a good job with Two-Face. Speaking of Two-Face, Im glad that they got him right in this film, both in his double-headed coin and in his split-personality. Also making him into an anti-hero as opposed to a villain was absolutely right for the character for it makes him much more interesting. Michael Caine also delivers a solid performance as Alfred. Overall, the movie featured good acting, writing and directing. There are two side notes to this film. The first is that the Scarecrow, who was last seen retreating at the end of Batman Begins, makes a cameo appearance in this movie. He appears at the beginning of the film. The second side note is that the movie is dedicated to Heath Ledger. The dedication appears at the end of the film. Fortunately, the actor was able to complete his role before he died.
