Spider-Man battles Venom, an arch-nemesis, in this animated superhero saga. When a space shuttle carrying some strange meteors crashes to Earth, it's Spider-Man to the rescue. But after he comes into contact with the space rocks, Spider-Man's costume starts to change to black - and his mood shifts. As an alien force tries to take over Spider-Man's body, the superhero finds himself wanted by the authorities and targeted by two of his worst enemies. This was the best in the animated series. The animation was well done and so was the writing. Venom is Spider-Man's best foe and it's a shame they didn't get him right for the film.
