In this episode, Clark pushes his abilities to the limit to save his telepathic young friend Ryan from an evil doctor who wants to control the boy's abilities. Meanwhile, Nell tells Lana they are moving to Metropolis. Ryan James is one of the better guest characters. This is a really sad episode since Ryan, who's one of my favorite characters, dies in it. There are two side notes to this episode. The first is that Ryan Kelley's return appearance marks the first time a meteor freak has made a return appearance on Smallville. The second is that even though a lot of fan's were disappointed in the fact that the character died, the actor was simply honored to be back. In fact, the episode actually only increased his passion for acting.
