Lex tries to turn a soldier that supposedly died in Afghanistan into a "super-soldier." A senator threatens to tell the world about Lex's labs, prompting Lex to send the "soldier" to kill the senator. Lois sees the attack and becomes the soldier's next victim. This was a rather mediocre episode, which was entertaining. The only real problem I have with it, is that is too patriotic. In fact, it's the most patriotic Smallville episode since Visage. I never particularly liked these types of episodes and find that the patriotism ruins the enjoyment of the episode.
