Clark is concerned when he discovers someone has been leaving love notes for Lana at her parents' grave and warns her to stay away from the mysterious poet. Fed up with Clark's over-protectiveness, Lana follows the dark and handsome stranger to his home and discovers that his parents keep him locked in chains. Unable to leave him like that, Clark and Lana break into the house to save the boy, but soon realize why he was locked up in the first place. The guest star was an interesting character; similar to Ryan James in a way. Well the first thing I'm going to say about this decent episode is how bad this teenager's parents are. This, of course, is to show the difference between them and the Kents. The writers did the same thing in Leach with Eric Summers's parents. Also, I would like to point out that Clark is concerned about the poetic stalker, yet he himself is also a stalker.
