Clark begins to piece together the reason he was sent to Earth after he has a nightmare that something horrible is going to happen to Smallville and heads to the cave to seek answers from Jor-El. His biological father tells him he must reunite the three crystals immediately or a disaster of epic proportions will befall the planet and even Clark won't be able to stop it. Meanwhile, Lex helps Lana escape Smallville after the death of Genevieve Teague, but he is really after the stone. But by killing Jason's mother, Lana becomes free of Isobel. Jason goes after the Kents thinking they can lead him to the stones. The merging of the crystals summons a meteor shower on Graduation Day. Lex certainly turns dark in this episode. Also, I liked how they included the graduation ceremony as opposed to simply talking about it. Also, I wish they had broken it up into two parts like the previous finales did by removing either Ageless or Forever instead of doing an extended finale.
