Sam Jones III grew up in Boston, Mass., where he acted in local commercials. He then spent a summer with a friend in Los Angeles and decided to pursue a career in acting. Soon after he graduated high school, Sam relocated and it seems he's been acting ever since. Sam received great ciritcal acclaim for his lead role in a film called Zigzag, playing an autistic young man. He also once appeared with Allison Mack (Chloe Sullivan) in an episode of The Nightmare Room on the Kids WB. Sam Jones III left Smallville in the Season Three episode Forsaken since he felt his character was underused. Some attempts have been made to bring Pete Ross back to the show as a guest star but they have not worked out.
