When a bad grade in French class threatens the college plans of high school senior Bobby Chrystal, his father hires a private instructor to help him earn a passing grade. But Bobby's tutelage shifts from French to the language of love when the tutor turns out to be statuesque blonde Terry Green. Meanwhile, Bobby's friend Jack embarks on a mission to lose his virginity. In this fun movie, which is a lot like Private Lessons that was released a year before, but unlike that movie which had an element of mystery in it, this was the typical younger man-older woman senerio. They had two antagonists in this film - Bobby's father and Terry's ex-boyfriend. I actually thought Bobby's father was a jerk; he was way too controlling over his son. Overall, this is a fun movie. Go rent it!
