Superman's high-flying adventures continue in the popular TV series's third season. As usual, newshound Clark Kent (alias Superman) and ace reporter Lois Lane find themselves in one tough spot after another, but with Superman around, what's to worry? Season Three was the turning point in the series. The turning point came during the clone/amnesia arc. It would have been fine if it was a triple episode with John Shea's final onscreen appearance as Lex Luthor being its finale, but, unfortunately, it was stretched it to five parts. John Shea appeared in two episodes which were very good; these were Double Jeopardy and Seconds. This season also had two other good episodes which were Ultra Woman and Super Mann. The former combined the standard situation of role reversals with red kryptonite and the latter was the most serious episode of the series. Its seriousness makes it an unusual episode.
