Updating the classic DC Comics story with Gen X flair, this 1990s TV series follows the continuing adventures of Clark Kent (alias Superman) and Lois Lane in the second season. Even though John Shea is not in this season with the exception of The Phoenix, it makes up for this with more action and humor. Also, this is the season that allows the writers to use all of their good ideas. After this the series deteriorated. Anyway, my favorite episodes were A Bolt From The Blue and The Phoenix. The former was by far the funniest episode of the season while the latter had Lex Luthor in it. On a side note, this is the season that has most of the episodes I remember watching when I was a kid.
