Kristin Kreuk was born on December 30, 1982, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Before she ever acted, Kristin trained in gymnastics at the national level until high school but quit in eleventh grade due to scoliosis. The following year, she got her first role in the TV series Edgemont. That role she finished in 2003. After shooting the first season of the show, she landed the lead role the TV movie Snow White. In fact, it was this role that gave her the part of Lana Lang in Smallville, which is the show she's most associated with. Kristin still resides in Vancouver and enjoys reading, travel and spending time with her friends and family. In fact, she's friends with Alison Mack (Chloe Sullivan) and the two can be seen shopping together. Besides acting in Smallville, Kristin had also acted in the miniseries Earthsea and the film Euro-Trip. Her next movie is Street Fighter.
