With an abuse-filled past and a janitorial job, Will Hunting spends his days hanging out with best friend Chuckie Sullivan. When it is discovered that Will is a mathematical genius, he is given two choices: spend time in jail or go to therapy sessions and do math. Will choses the latter and meets Sean Maguire. The therapist helps helps the young man confront the demons that have been holding him back. This is a powerful and moving film with strong performances, particularly from Robin Williams and Ben Affleck. In fact, I think that this is the former's best role,. Although I haven't seen the latter in much, my guess is that this is his best role as well. The movie features solid writing and great directing. It is also a must see.
