In this movie, Andrew Largeman returns to his hometown in New Jersey after a decade away to attend his mother's funeral. Having just weaned himself off anti-depressants, the young man begins to see his life in a new light, which leads him to confront his psychologist father and forge a connection with a new friend. This is a enjoyable film, which had good acting, writing and directing. I particularly thought that Natalie Portman did a good job. I would also like to point out that when the director casts himself as the protagonist, it almost always doesn't work, but this is a rare instance in which it did.
