When Michelle, an orphaned French girl living with Parisian relatives meets Paul, a rich English lad who's run away from home, they become instant chums and decide to create a life apart from the unhappy adult world they inhabit. Escaping to a seaside locale, the two set up house and become lovers. A baby follows, as do grown-up responsibilities - neither of which the youngsters bargained for in this intimate coming-of-age film. This movie had terrible writing and directing. The acting was pretty bad too, but at least it was better. The film's sexuality was tastefully done and was rather sweet innocence. On a side note, this film was controversial due to its sexuality.
