In post-apocalyptic America, Max is a genetically enhanced human prototype who escaped her military handlers. Now, she roams the Pacific Northwest searching for others like herself - those who are stronger, faster, have x-ray vision and are haunted by nightmares. But can she continue to elude those desperate to reclaim her? I always associated the term "human prototype" with the word "android." Anyway, this was a very well done season. The overall plotline of Season One, which was basically Max looking for her "family" - other X-5s - was really good. Unfortunately, the series really collapsed after this season and didn't last more than two seasons. However, I did like Max, her "brother" Zach and her friend, "Eyes Only." I though they were well done characters. Overall, this season was pretty good. James Cameron really ran out of ideas after this season.
