Even though your going away for college, we'll still be close friends. We've got Counter-Strike, and Team Fortress to keep us together until you come home. Eric, your one of the only down to Earth people I know that can tell me something straight. If you don't want to do something, you don't make up excuses like "I'm tired", or "I have to watch the dog.". You lay down the Darth Vader "No" in those situations! I can count on you to tell me if something is a bad move, looks bad or just doesn't feel right. I can trust you with my secrets, because I know your not going to leak them to the world.
My only regret is not having spent more time with you. Even though we see one another daily, I will miss these days when it comes time to return to college. We'll keep in touch of course, that's what buddies do for one another. Our hikes and midnight cruises will forever be in etched into my mind. May the force be with you comrade!
