chapter five
Kimberly stopped at the gate just before she ran out into the crowd of fans. Danielle caught up to her.
�You slapped him.� Danielle said.
�Yes I did.�
�Where are you going?�
�To the car and going home.�
�Home? Like back to California?�
�Yes�but you stay. You need to tell JC, be with him.�
�Kimberly, wait. Think about this for a while.�
�I already have.� She began to walk towards the car that was all the way across the huge parking lot. They were half way there when fans stopped them.
�Hey, aren�t you JC�s girlfriend?� One girl asked.
�Yes.� They both said.
Justin stopped at the gate seeing Kimberly and Danielle talking to fans.
�KIMBERLY!� He started walking towards her. When he called her name, about 20 girls looked his way.
�BABY GIRL!� he yelled. Kimberly looked.
�Damn it. Give me your shoes Danielle.�
�What?�
�Just give them to me.�
Kimberly took Danielle�s shoes, putting them on and running towards the car.
Justin saw her start to run and he ran after her. The rest of the guys came running out of the arena, following Justin.
�NO! NO! NO! GUYS COME BACK!� All the bodyguards yelled.
They didn�t listen and kept running. They ran to Danielle, who was still walking.
�Hey.� JC said putting his arm around her shoulder.
�Hi. Kimberly took my shoes.�
He chuckled.
�Can I have your autograph?� a little girl asked.
�Sure.� JC said.
�No, her.�
�Me?� Danielle pointed to herself.
�Yeah�you�re pretty.�
Danielle looked at JC; he smiled. She kneeled down to the girl and signed her arm.
�Thank you.� The girl said.
�You�re welcome.�
Danielle and JC continued to walk towards the action.
�Why didn�t you tell me you were coming?� JC asked Danielle.
�Kimberly said she would hurt me if I told you.�
�Damn, she�s harsh.�
�Yeah.� She laughed.
Kimberly got to the limo; realizing the driver wasn�t there and the doors were locked. �Shit!�
�Kimberly wait!� Justin grabbed her arm catching up to her. �Please don�t go. I�m so so sorry. I�m being a total jackass. I�m sorry�I love you so much baby girl�I should have listened to you, but I was letting my pride get to me. Please, please don�t leave me�I love you.� Justin was on his knees; hugging her legs and sobbing uncontrollably. He could barely speak and was trying to catch his breath.
Kimberly leaned down and cupped his face. He looked up at her.
�Justin, baby, calm down�it�s okay.� She put her arms around him, hugging him.
He wrapped his arms around her tightly, he stood them up as he got off of his knees. Justin looked at her, holding her face. �I love you baby girl.� He whispered to her.
�I love you too.� She whispered back.
Justin leaned in and kissed her. The little girl that asked Danielle for an autograph started to clap. Everyone followed with clapping and cheers. Justin slipped the promise ring back on Kimberly�s finger as they kissed. Nsync and the girls got in the limo when the driver returned and he drove them back to the gate at the arena.

They all sat in Nsync�s dressing room.
�Damn, can this day get any more dramatic?� Lance said.
�Oh yes it can.� Danielle thought to herself. She looked at Kimberly. She took sips of her water as Chris spoke.
�Yes it can! I�m pregnant!� Chris joked.
Danielle spit out the water, choking on it. Kimberly and Danielle�s eyes became wide.
�Geez babe. It was just a joke.� JC said.
�I know�I�ll be back. I have to go to the�bathroom.� Danielle said getting up.
�Baby girl, are you okay?� Justin asked Kim.
�Yeah I�m fine.� She said.
Danielle walked into the bathroom, slamming down the toilet seat and sitting on top of it.
�God damn it! This sucks. I�m never going to be able to tell JC I�m pregnant�Wade is right, I�m going to have the kid and he�s never going to know.� She said out loud to herself.
JC followed her to the bathroom; he heard the whole conversation. He lightly knocked on the door. �Danielle?�
She froze; her whole body went tense. She didn�t say anything.
JC pushed open the door, walking in. �Sweetheart.�
She slowly looked up at him, he walked to her and kneeled in front of her, grabbing her hands.
�Are you pregnant?�
She slowly nodded her head; afraid of his reaction.
He smiled. �Really?� He said with excitement in his voice.
�Yes�you�re happy about it?�
�Of course, aren�t you?� He smiled.
�Yes.� She smiled, sighing deeply. �Thank god.�
He chuckled; grabbing her hand and making her stand up. He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her. �I love you.� He said.
She smiled up at him. �I love you too.�
He leaned down and kissed her. �Come on, let�s go tell everyone.� He couldn�t keep the smile off of his face.
They walked back into the dressing room. Kimberly saw the huge grin on JC�s face, she knew Danielle had told him.
�Geez JC, why the happy face?� Lance asked.
�Danielle�s pregnant.� He smiled.
�Alright JC!� They all said cheering and giving him hugs.
�Danielle, we can be pregnant together!� Chris said grabbing her hand and pulling her. He had a pillow in his shirt.
�Oh my god.� Danielle said, laughing.
Chris put his head to her stomach, listening. All of a sudden he fell over. �Oh my god! Ow!� He held his head. �Damn, your baby is going to be kicking my ass!�
Danielle laughed.
Johnny walked in the room. �Hey guys.�
�Hi.� They all said.
He saw Chris with the pillow in his shirt. �Chris what are you doing?�
�Danielle and I are pregnant together.� Chris blurted out before thinking. �Oops��
�What? You�re pregnant Danielle?�
She nodded her head.
He looked over at JC, who was still smiling. �And Chris, please tell me you�re not pregnant.� Johnny said.
�Nah, I was joking. Got ya!� He pulled the pillow out of his shirt.
�I didn�t even know�well congratulations you two. I�m very happy for you.� He gave the 2 hugs.
�Thank you.�
�You guys need to get ready NOW! You start in 15 minutes.�
�Oh damn!� They all ran different directions.
15 minutes later after hackey sack, the guys went on stage.
�How is everyone feeling tonight?� JC asked.
Danielle smiled at the excitement in his voice. She was glad he was so happy about the news.

The next morning, Danielle woke up when she felt JC kiss her stomach. �What are you doing?� she mumbled.
He didn�t say anything; he just kept kissing her stomach. She felt him smile slightly. �Stop! That tickles.� She pushed his head away.
He laughed. �Good morning sweetheart.� He kissed her lips softly.
�Morning.� She said.
�You know what?� he smiled.
�What?�
�We should go baby shopping.� He said excitedly.
�Right now?�
�Yeah! Go get ready and we�ll go.�
�But-�
�No buts; go.� He kissed her lips again and helped her up, smacking her butt and pushed her off to the bathroom.
She came out of the bathroom freshly cleaned. �Josh, we don�t know if it�s going to be a girl or a boy.�
�Oh well, we�ll get lots of yellow and green.�
�Okay, whatever.�
�I called the guys and they�re all coming. Kimberly too.�
�Okay.�

Everyone was at the mall baby shopping. Danielle and JC were in one shop looking at the clothes.
�Baby, I�m going to go into that store over there real quick.� JC said.
�Okay.�
He walked over to the store. He walked in, looking around at all the toys. Walking down an aisle and looking at the clothes on the racks, he saw a t-shirt that said �You think I�m cute, you should see my daddy.� He smiled, taking it off the rack. Behind it was a shirt that said �Daddy�s lil� girl.� He took that shirt too. The thought of having a little girl that would be a daddy�s girl made him smile. Right there he had that gut feeling that the baby would be a girl. He went to the cashier and paid for the stuff.
Soon he headed back to the store where Danielle was.
�Hey sweetie, find anything good?� she asked.
�Actually yes.� He smiled.
�Can I see?�
�No.�
�Why not?�
�I�ll show you later. Let�s go.� He put his arm around her shoulder.
�Josh! I want to know what you got.�
�I�m going to hide it.� He smiled down at her.
�You�re mean.�
�But you still love me.� He said. �More than ever.� He leaned down and kissed her real quick on the lips.
Kimberly and the rest of the guys met them at the food court.
�Hey guys.� JC said.
�Hi.� They all said, taking a seat.
�What�d you get?� Danielle asked.
�I got the kid a little sit and spin thing.� Chris said.
�Isn�t the baby going to be a little small for it?�
�Until then, I�ll play with it.�
Danielle and JC laughed.
�We got a bunch of booties and shoes to go with it.� Justin and Kimberly said.
�Aw.�
�I got the baby a t-shirt that says �Born To Be A Rockstar�.� Joey said.
�And we all got the baby a drum set so when it gets older they can drive their parents crazy.� Lance said.
�Oh great!� JC and Danielle said, looking at each other.
