chapter one
Danielle and Kimberly sat on the black leather couch at home.
�What are you going to do?� Kimberly asked
�I don�t know? He was in such a hurry, I couldn�t tell him.� Danielle said
�Are you going to tell him?� Kim asked
�Of course, he deserves to know.� She looked at her. �I just don�t know how�I was about to back out at the last minute. I�m too scared.�
�When did you find out?�
�This morning.�
�When did you go get a pregnancy test?�
�I had Luke go get me one. He came by this morning and gave it to me.�
Kimberly laughed. �Poor Luke.�
�He was cool with it.�
�So�you were pregnant, not sick.�
�Yep�I can�t believe this, I�m only 21 years old and not even married and having a kid.�
�Get married then.�
�I want to marry him because I love him, not because I�m having his child.�
�True�but you do love him and I know, you know, we all know JC loves you more than anything and would never marry you because there�s a child involved. He�d marry you because he wants to spend the rest of his life with you.�
Danielle fell back on the couch. �God why is this happening to me?�this is so confusing.�
�You�ll be alright D�but you can�t raise a child with the father in Florida and the mother in California. What are you going to do about that?�
�I�ll move to Orlando then.� She said
�What? Are you serious?� Kim said
�Yes, I have to, for the baby�And I know you want to go too, cause even though the guys have been gone fore maybe only 6 hours. You already miss Justin like crazy.�
�You�re right.�
There was a knock on the door. Kimberly got up to get it. It was Luke.
�Hey Luke, what�s up?� She said letting him inside
�Hi.� He gave her a hug. �Where�s Danielle?�
�Right here.� Danielle said waving her arm from behind the couch, lying down.
He walked over to her and kneeled down in front of her.
�How�d it go?� He asked
�I�m pregnant�and he left too soon before I could tell him.� Danielle said
�Really?�
�Yep.�
�Congratulations though!� He hugged her
�Thank you.� She smiled
He sat down on the other couch next to Kimberly.
�So what do you want it to be, a boy or girl?� Luke asked
�I don�t know?�
�Oh yes you do�you have since you were like 14.� Kimberly said
�Shut up!�
�She wants a girl.� Kimberly told Luke.
�Do you?� He asked Danielle.
�Yes.� She laughed
�JC probably wants a boy though.� He said
�Who knows�he doesn�t even have kids on his mind, it�s all music, music, music.�
�And Danielle.� Kimberly said
Danielle laughed.

The next day�
�We want to give you a 2 weeks notice that we are leaving.� Kimberly told their boss Stacy.
�Both of you? Why?� Stacy asked
�We�ve decided to move to Orlando and I�m pregnant.� Danielle said
�Oh how exciting! Congratulations!� She said giving her a hug.
�Thank you.�
�We�ll I�m disappointed to lose you two, but I�ll live. And the best of luck to both of you.�
�Thank you.� They both said
�We�ll have to have a big going away night!�
�Yeah.�
�Well you two go home and I�ll see you tomorrow night.�
�Ok, bye.� Danielle and Kimberly went back home.

�Any messages?� Kimberly asked
�None from the guys, just from my mom.� Danielle said
�Are you going to tell her?�
�After I tell JC�I�m telling everyone else but JC.�
�You�ll be able to do it. What could happen that could be so bad?�
�He�ll freak out and leave me hanging.�
�He would never do that.�
�I know. I�m just scared for myself, ya know.�
�You�ll be ok, just scream and blame JC for it.�
Danielle laughed. �It is his fault�no I�m kidding. Alright so let�s watch a movie. I�m bored.�
�What movie?�
�Whatever.�
The phone rang. Danielle jumped up to answer it.
�Hello?�
�Hi sweetheart.� Her mom said
�Hi mom, how are you?�
�Good and you?�
�Alright.�
�What�s the matter?�
�JC left yesterday, and just some other things going on.�
�Want to talk about it?�
�Nah, it�s alright. Look I have to go, Kim and I were about to walk out the door to go to the store. I�ll call you later.�
�Ok, love you.�
�Love you too. Bye.� Danielle hung up the phone. She set her head down on the kitchen counter.
�What am I going to do?� She whispered asking herself.

3 days later�
�Yo, J. Let�s go!� Lonnie said
�Can I make a call first?� Justin asked. He hadn�t called Kimberly yet, they had been really busy and he promised her he�d call.
�No man we have to go NOW. You guys are already late.�
�Damnit�Fine, I�ll do it later.�
He walked out the door going with the rest of the guys to the studio.
�Ok play that track again.� JC said. The song played.
�That sounds good C.� Justin said
�Yeah.� He bobbed his head to the music.
12:00pm � a few hours later.
�Ok guys let�s take a lunch break.� JC said
�Yes!� They all said in excitement.
The 5 went to lunch at a near by Old Chicago.
�Hey JC have you talked to Danielle at all since we left?� Justin asked
�No. I called once but they weren�t home.�
�Oh, every time I try to call Kimberly I can�t cause I have to leave. She�s probably freaking out.� He chuckled.
�Why don�t you call her now? It�s almost been a week since we left.� Joey said
Justin took out his cell phone, dialing Kimberly and Danielle�s house.
�Hello?� Kimberly said answering the phone.
�Hey baby girl.� He said
�Hi! So you aren�t dead. I�m glad you called.�
�Sorry baby, we�ve been really busy since we got back�how are you?�
�Good. Just going to work mostly, the usual.�
�How�s Danielle?� JC looked at him.
�Uh�she�s good. She�s been taking a lot of hours at work, so I haven�t seen her much, unless I�m at work. But she�s alright.� Kim lied. �Misses JC like crazy.�
Justin smiled. �She�s good�misses you.� He whispered to JC. He smiled.
�That�s good. I miss you.�
�Me too�so what have you guys been up to?�
�In the studio a little bit. Rehearsals all day. The tour starts in a week and a half.�
�How exciting! I wish I could be there to see it.�
�Me too.�
�When you�re finished let me talk to Danielle.� JC told Justin.
�Okay, hey baby, is Danielle there? JC wants to talk to her.�
�Um�let me see if she�s here. She might be in her room.� She put the phone down.
�Are you here?� she asked Danielle who was sitting on the couch.
�No.�
�Why not? He wants to talk to you. He misses you.�
�I know. I�m scared to. He�ll know something is wrong and make me tell him and I don�t want to tell him over the phone.� Danielle said.
�Okay I get it.� She picked the phone back up. �Justin.�
�Yeah?�
�She�s not here. She must still be at work. She should be home soon.�
�Okay. Thanks�JC she�s not there.� He told him.
He was a little disappointed. �Oh okay. I�ll call back later then.� He said.
�Okay�hey baby girl I have to go. Our lunch break is over. I�ll talk to you later. I love you.�
�Love you too. Bye.�
�Bye.� He hung up the phone. Following the rest of the guys back to the studio.

Later that night.
Danielle walked into her room, lying down on the bed watching TV.
�Hey Danielle!� Kimberly shouted from downstairs.
�What?�
�I�m gonna take a shower. If the phone rings, get it.�
�Okay.�
Danielle laid there for a little longer before the phone rang.
�Hello?� She said answering it.
�Hey sweetie.� JC said.
�Hi.�
�What�s up?�
�Nothing much, just watching TV.�
�Oh. Anything new and exciting happen since I�ve been gone?�
�Uh�no�not really.� She lied.
�Oh yeah. What did you want to tell me before I left? At the airport?�
�Oh shit.� She thought.
�Uh�I don�t remember�maybe it will come back to me.� She lied again.
�So I hear you�ve been working a lot.�
�Yeah I have. Since you guys aren�t here there�s not much to do, might as well work.�
�Yeah really, we�ve been really busy with rehearsals. Wade�s been working us hard.�
�Aw, my poor baby.�
�Yes�I�m tired as hell though. I need sleep.�
�Well, go to sleep then.�
�I want to talk to you though. I miss you like crazy.�
She smiled. �I miss you too.�
�So when are you gonna come see me?�
She chuckled. �Who knows, I might end up at your doorstep any minute.�
�Really? That�d make my day.�
�I bet it will.�
There was a knock on his door.
�Is that you?� he asked.
�What?�
�At the door?�
�No.�
He opened the door. It was room service. He got his drink and food and went back inside and sat on the bed.
�It was just room service�darn.�
�It could have been me dressed up like room service and you would of never known.� She laughed.
�Be honest, are you here in Orlando?�
�No, I�m just joking with you.� She laughed.
�I knew that.�
�Sure.�
�So what are you watching?�
�I was watching some movie on TV, but now it�s Jerry Springer.�
He laughed. �I haven�t seen that in so long.�
�Me neither. �Undercover Lovers� that�s the subject.� She laughed.
When Kimberly got out of the shower, she picked up the phone and Danielle was one the phone with JC. She put the phone down.
�Good. She needed to talk to him.� She got her pajamas on then got into bed.
Two hours later�
Danielle was still on the phone with JC.
�Okay, it�s getting really late and you have to sleep. I better let you go.� Danielle said.
�Aw�already? Well, okay. I�ll call you tomorrow, okay?�
�Alright.�
�Talk to you later�I love you.�
�I love you too. Bye.�
�Bye baby. Sweet dreams and good night.� He hung up the phone.
Danielle put the phone back into its receiver. She laid down, going to sleep with a smile on her face.
