chapter 04
That evening�
JC and Rachel were going to dinner. JC brought extra clothes to wear to dinner. He wore dark blue denim jeans and a simple black polo shirt. Rachel changed, wearing a black skirt and a red blouse. The two finished getting ready and left.
Sitting in the cab, on the way to dinner.
�So where are we going?� Rachel asked
�A nice restaurant I found.� JC told her.
�Ok.�
They got to the restaurant, getting seated right away.
�This place is nice.�
�Yeah it is.�
The waiter came and took their orders.
�So are you excited about going to the concert?� JC asked
�Yeah, I�ve actually already been to two of your concerts.�
�Really?� He raised an eyebrow.
�Yes, Kimberly dragged me there. The first one was the No Strings Attached Tour, that was cool. I really liked last years too.�
�The Pop Odyssey Tour.� He said
�Yeah, you guys did an awesome job�We had floor seats, like row 13, we weren�t far from that walk way. Kimberly screamed the whole time.�
JC laughed.
�You should have seen her when Justin was singing Gone. She was crying and when he laid down he was right by us, she was spazzin��
�Did you sit the whole concert?�
�No, a little maybe. But I really didn�t know the words to the songs. But I enjoyed the little 14-year-olds freaking out, I was laughing so hard.�
He laughed. �We always make fun of Justin cause all these little girls come running up saying �will you marry me Justin?� so we give him a hard time.�
She smiled. �Are you excited about the concert?�
He smiled. �I always am. I love going out on stage and singing my heart out and dancing too.�
�You guys have dancers again?�
�No, this concert is more of an intimate feel. We interact with the fans more.�
�That�s cool.�
�So far we�ve got a good response. The fans like it.�
�That�s good right?�
�Of course�Ok, if you can remember, what�s your favorite song?�
�I like �God Must Have Spent A Little More Time on You� that�s a beautiful song.�
�Yeah it is, a lot of the fans love that song. It was on our first album.�
�And how long ago was that?�
�About 5 years ago.�
�Wow, long time.�
�Yeah we�ve been through a lot together.�
�Will I ever be able to meet the rest of the guys?� Rachel asked
JC smiled. �Of course, I�ll bring them over tomorrow or Tuesday. I�ll have to get them all together. When we have breaks we all scatter.�
�Don�t you guys spend off-time together?�
�Yeah, once in a while, but when we have time off we usually want to go home and see family.�
�That�s cool.� Rachel said. Their food came, and they had small talk while eating. After dinner they drove around the city for a while then went back to Rachel�s place.
Standing in the elevator together, JC had his arm around Rachel�s shoulder and she had her arm around his waist.
�I had a great time JC, thank you.� She said
�Me too. It�s like our real first date, it went well.� He smiled down at her.
�Yes it did.� She said. JC leaned down and kissed her. The elevator stopped at Rachel�s floor. The kiss ended. Rachel opened the elevator.
�Ok well I should go.� JC said
�Alright.�
�I�ll call you tomorrow. See what the guys are doing.�
�Ok.�
�Get some sleep.� He kissed her again before closing the elevator and going back to the hotel.
Rachel smiled, sighing deeply.
�You have fun?� Jessica asked
Rachel jumped at the sudden voice.
�Oh my god! You scared the shit out of me! What are you doing here?�
�I came to see if you were here, but you weren�t so I hung out until you got home.�
�Oh well what�s new?�
�What�s new with you? I saw that kiss with JC�tell me details.�
Rachel laughed. �Let me change first.� She went and put on some pajama bottoms and a tank top, walking downstairs to the entertainment room. Jessica sat on the couch. Rachel sat next to her.
�Ok well you know we met at the bar. I saw him again the next morning at Starbucks. We talked for a while and he ended up coming here.
�Ooo��
�Shut up�anyway, we spent the day together, oh yeah and Justin came over and we all hung out?�
�Justin...Justin Timberlake?�
�Yes.�
�Kimberly is going to freak.�
�She already did. She called when they were here. Now she can�t wait to get home.�
Jessica laughed.
�So�they left and this morning JC called me. I had woken up at 8 to work on my paper and he called at like 11. So he came over and we hung out, talked�made out, the usual.�
They laughed together.
�Kimberly kept calling�but then this evening we went to dinner. It was great.� Rachel smiled.
�Oh how cool. Are you two together?�
�Yes.� She smiled brightly.
�You look really happy and you�ve only known him for what 2 days?�
�I know it�s crazy�but I don�t know what made me feel this way so fast. He makes me feel so�wonderful. He�s such a sweetheart�it was like love at first sight.�
�Do you love him?�
�I wouldn�t say that�but I know I�m falling for him�and fast.�
�Well he seems like a guy that will treat you right�and a good kisser too.�
Rachel laughed. �Yeah that too.�

JC walked into the hotel room. His 4 best friends were sitting in the front of the TV playing video games.
�Hey JC, where have you been?� Lance asked
�I went to dinner with Rachel.�
�Ooo�� They all said
�JC what about Bobbie? Have you told Rachel?� Justin asked
JC became frustrated. �No I haven�t told her. I told her I have no girlfriend.�
�Why�d you do that?�
�Because�� He paused, �Because I care about her�I don�t want to hurt her.�
�No matter what you do now, you�ll hurt her.� Joey said
�Don�t remind me�guys for the first time in a long time I�ve felt something deep and it�s with her, not Bobbie�I connect with her�she doesn�t care that I�m famous, she likes me for me!...Bobbie only wants to be in the spotlight next to me�I can�t let Rachel slip away.�
�Whoa, you are serious about her�if you don�t want to lose her, break it off with Bobbie.� Justin said
�I plan on that.�
�But JC you�ve been with Bobbie for almost 2 years. You�re just giving it up?� Chris said
�Chris, nothing is there anymore. We hardly spend any time together anymore. What�s the use�?�
�Ok.�
�I just can�t let her find out I�ve lied to her.�
