chapter 02
Sneaking into the movies was an unexpected idea from JC. The theatre was dark. Since the theatre was auditorium seating they sat in front so they wouldn�t catch glances.
�Your crazy JC. I can�t believe you got me into this.� Rachel said
�Your having fun though, right?� He leaned over and whispering in her ear, giving her the chills.
�Yeah.� She said
They continued to watch the movie. In the middle, Rachel felt an arm go around her. She looked over at JC; he was looking forward at the screen. She smiled, looking back at the screen and finished watching the movie. As the movie ended, people started leaving. JC and Rachel waited till everyone left and they soon left the movie theatre walking to Rachel�s car.
�I had a great time.� JC said as they drove away from the movies.
�Me too.� She said looking over at him smiling. �So�where are we going from here?�
�Well I�m free for the rest of the day. Wanna hang out?� He said
�Sure, where do you want to go?�
�You got a place?�
�Yeah.�
�You live with anyone?�
She looked over at him. �What kind of stuff are you thinking?�
He smiled. �Nothing!�
She laughed. �Yes I do. But she�s out of town.�
�Where�d she go?�
�Florida, visiting friends.�
�When is she coming back?�
�Your really noise aren�t you?�
He chuckled. �No�I just really want to get to know you.� He said putting his hand on her leg.
She looked down at his hand for a second, then to him. She smiled. �She�comes back next weekend.�
�So�are you going to let me come over?�
�I don�t know? �I might have to get my mom�s approval.� She laughed. ��I�m kidding.�
She drove back to the Starbucks so JC could get his car and he followed Rachel to her apartment. Rachel drove into the parking garage. They went inside and took the elevator up to her floor.
�This is a nice place�big.� JC said
�Thanks.�
JC walked around looking at everything. �Ooo�a hot tub.�
�Yeah.�
�Do you ever use it?�
�Oh all the time.�
�Make a mental note to myself that I need to get her in there sometime� JC thought to himself. Walking back towards the kitchen where Rachel was.
�Ok�� He sat down on the stool in front of the counter. �So Rachel�for me to be able to get to know you better I have to know a few facts about you. So I ask you questions and you can ask questions.�
�Ok�what do you want to know?�
�Everything.�
She looked at him. �Where do you want me to start?�
�When�s your birthday?�
�November 27th and you?�
�August 8th.�
�Ok, where are you from?�
�I live in Orlando, Florida. I was born and raised in Bowie, Maryland and you?�
�I live here in Los Angeles, I was born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado.�
�Cool. Um�you have any brothers or sisters?�
�2 sisters and 1 brother, all older than me.�
�Aw the baby!� He smiled. �I have a brother and a sister both younger.�
�The oldest. Lucky you.�
He smiled big. "I�m the one who�s the big famous pop star remember?�
She laughed. �Ok, ok, uh�do you have a girlfriend?�
�Would I be here if I did?�
�Probably so�� She smiled.
�Oh so you think I�m that kind of guy?�
�No, just playing around with you.�
He laughed. �But no I don�t have a girlfriend, do you have a boyfriend?�
�If I did, you wouldn�t even be here.� She softly laughed.
�Oh is that right? Are you sure about that?�
��I don�t know? I might have to change my mind. Because you are very attractive and you have that charm, who can resist?�
He grinned at her. �What I thought.�
�Sure.� She said walking towards the living room.
�I have another question for you.� JC said.
�Shoot�� She turned around to face him.
�Are you a virgin?� He said boldly.
She just stared at him. By the time she came back to reality, he was standing in front of her.
�So what�s your answer?� he said looking down at her, speaking in a low and sexy voice.
�Uh�um�� She looked up at him. �No.�
�Really?�
�Are you surprised by that?�
�Maybe a little�you seem like the girl next door, innocent like and good grades.�
�Oh I�m more of a bad girl than you know.� She said getting closer to his face.
�I�ll have to see it to believe it.�
�Ooo�is that a threat Mr. Chasez?�
He stepped closer to her. He tilted his head down towards her face, inches away from her lips. �Yeah.� He said in that low voice again. �Got a problem with it?�
�N-no.� She said.
He captured his lips into his. He placed his hands on her neck. Pulling her closer. She wrapped her arms around his neck. They stood there kissing for a long time, until JC�s cell phone rang. Rachel pulled away, breathing heavily. �You should-.�
�No, no�forget it.� JC said pulling her face towards him, kissing her again. Forgetting the phone ringing.
�JC�JC this�isn�t right.� Rachel said finally pulling away.
�What? Why not?�
�I only met you yesterday. This feels weird�this is going fast.�
�If slow is what you want. I�ll do that.� He said
�Ok now you sound like were dating�are we?�
�I�do�want to be with you.� He said.
Rachel was shocked. �Really? Why?�
�Rachel, I feel something between us. I want to see if it works out. I really like you.�
She smiled. �I like you too�maybe we can�work this out.�
�Of course we can.� He said pulling her close to him, hugging her. He pulled back just enough to look at her. He slowly inched towards her lips. They shared another intense kiss, until JC�s cell phone rang again. Rachel pulled away.
�Is history repeating itself or something?� JC asked
Rachel laughed. �You should probably get that this time.�
�Yeah.� He took his cell phone from his pocket answering it.
�Hello?�
�Hey C, where are you?� Justin asked.
�At Rachel�s apartment.�
�Oh really? Are you two doing anything nasty?�
�No.� He chucked.
�So can I come hang out wit ya?�
�Let me ask her�can Justin come over?�
�Sure.�
�She said sure�here she is, she�ll give you directions.� JC handed the phone to Rachel. She told Justin where to go and he was soon on his way.

Rachel and JC were playing pool when the buzzer went off.
�That�s Justin.� Rachel said putting down her stick and walked towards the door where the intercom was.
�Yeah?� She said
�Hey it�s me.� Justin said
�Come on in. It�s the 4th floor.� She buzzed him in.
She opened the elevator for him when he got to the floor.
�Hey Rach!� He said giving her a hug.
�Hi.�
�Wow! This place is phat!�
�Thanks.�
�Hey C! What�s up?� They did some handshake.
�Nothing� much man.�
�So Rach, can we have a grand tour of the place?� Justin asked.
�Sure,�well this is the pool table, the kitchen, front room over here, hot tub right there, and in there is the hallway to the entertainment room, I�ll show it to you in a sec, let�s go upstairs.� She said. They walked upstairs.
�There is the little funky couch with the phone inside.� She said pointing to the left. �And over there is the pillow room. It�s like that size of a closet and it�s filled with pillows.� She said pointing to it on the right. Walking more ways down the hall. �A guest room there, another guest bedroom��
The next room they passed had a huge Justin picture above the bed. �Oh and this must be your room, I always knew you liked me more than JC.� Justin said walking into the room and lying on the bed.
Rachel laughed. �Actually no, this is my friend Kimberly�s room. She likes you.� She said
�Oh darn, oh well. You can tell her I laid on her bed and she�ll be happy.� He did so.
�Oh yes she will.�
�You got a picture of her?�
�Yeah she should have some pictures of is in here.� She walked over to the dresser, looking at all the framed pictures.
�Ok here she is, this is me and her at some party.� She showed Justin and JC the picture. �And this one is of me, her and our friend Jessica, the one with me at the club last night.�
�Oh yeah I remember her.� JC said.
�Ok let�s move on�� She set the picture down and walked out to the hallway. They continued the tour. �This is my room��
�Nice�� JC said
�Shut up!�anyway, this is the study. And back downstairs.� They walked down the stairs. �And this is the entertainment room, big screen TV., surround sound, DVD, Play Station, Nintendo, keyboard, yada, yada and back through there is the front of the apartment.�
�Wow! You have a Play Station and Nintendo?� Justin said excited.
�Yeah I really don�t know why? Me and Kimberly play more Nintendo than Play Station though.� Rachel said
�How cool.�
�Yep. So you like the grand tour?�
�Yes, very nice house Rach.� JC said
�Thank you.�
�Let�s go play pool.� Justin said.
�Ok, we can restart our game.� JC said. The 3 walked back to the front of the apartment where the pool table was.

An hour later, they were on their 3rd game. The phone rang. Rachel went and answered it.
�Hello?�
�Hey Rach, what�s up?� Kimberly said.
�Nothing much just playing pool with JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake.� Rachel said
�Ha! Ha! Very funny.�
�No I�m serious.�
�OMG! You are serious! How the hell did that happen?�
�Well me and Jessica went out for a drink last night, well she did, but I met Justin and JC there and then this morning I went to Starbucks to work on my paper and I say JC there and we hung out and then he came back to the apartment and then Justin called and came over later.� She explained.
�Ooo�you mackin� on JC from NSYNC.� Kimberly said
Rachel laughed. �Oh yeah and Justin laid on your bed and said he�d sign your favorite poster of him.�
�Really?�
�Yep.�
�OMG! I can�t believe my best friend is hanging out with JC and Justin from NSYNC! Woo Hoo! Now I can�t wait to get home!�
�Your crazy! No you stay there, your having fun.�
�Not half as much fun as your having.�
�Maybe but oh well.�
�How long are they going to be in town?�
�I don�t know?��
�Ask.�
�Fine, how long are you guys going to be in town?�
�A week and a half.� They both said.
�Did you hear that?� She asked Kimberly.
�Yes! OMG!�
�Calm down!�
�I am. So�are you going out with JC?�
�Why do you assume that?�
�Cause your sexy and he would want a piece of you!�
�Oh god!�
�So are you?�
�Yes.�
�Wow! My best friend is dating JC Chasez!� Kimberly screamed.
�Ok now the whole world knows.�
�Nah, only some. Well I got to go. I�ll call you later.�
�Okay.�
�Don�t forget your term paper, get it done woman!�
�I won�t, yes ma�am.�
�Alright. Talk to you later. Bye.�
�Ok, bye.� Rachel hung up the phone.
They continued the rest of their game.
�So Rach are you coming to our concert?� Justin asked
�I don�t know? I�ve already been to 2, I don�t know if I want to go deaf again.�
They laughed. �When did you go?� JC asked
�I went to the No Strings Attached concert and last years the Pop Odyssey concert.�
�Did you and Kimberly go?�
�Yes, she dragged me there.�
�We will too, your going.� Justin said
�Yeah, we�ll get you tickets.� JC said
�I don�t know?�
�We have a concert on Tuesday and Saturday, choose which one you want to go to�your going girl, you can�t get out of it.� Justin said
She sighed. �Fine, I�ll go to the Saturday one, Kimberly comes back that morning so me, her and Jessica will go. Happy?�
�Very.� They both said grinning.
�Well we better get back to the hotel C, before they freak out cause they can�t find us.� Justin said
�Ok.� JC said
Justin went over to Rachel and gave her a hug goodbye. �We hanging out tomorrow?�
�I don�t know? I have to work on my paper some more. We�ll see.� She said
�Alright then, give me and call and we�ll chill.� He said
�Ok then.�
Before he left he went upstairs to Kimberly�s room to sign the poster. He personalized it to her and signed it, then leaving a little message underneath it saying: 'Stay *NSYNC! Can�t wait to meet ya! Hugs & Kisses. God Bless!�
JC walked over to her and gave her a hug goodbye also. �I had fun today, I�ll call you tomorrow.� He whispered in her ear as he hugged her.
�Ok.� She smiled. �See ya guys.� She closed the elevator door for them. As soon as they were out of sight she walked back upstairs to her room. She lay back on her bed. She smiled. �This is the perfect spring break yet!� She thought to herself.
