the wish*
chapter 01
It was a sunny August afternoon. Destiny sat up from her place on a lawn chair in her backyard. � She was bored, all of her friends were away for the summer, except her best friend Sam, who was with her boyfriend, so she decided to go shopping downtown. �
������ After about an hour of shopping, � she came upon a music store called Record Town. � She looked up to see a big picture of Christina Aguilera hanging in the window. � Destiny sighed and walked into the store.
������ �A bell rang as she entered, � and she looked around.
'Where to first?'� She asked herself. �

������� She spotted a newly released No Doubt CD in the Pop/Rock section and decided to check it out. She scanned the CD for a while looking at all the songs, and decided to get it. � She picked it back up and continued browsing some more. She was searching the other 'N's when something caught her eye. � She picked up a CD which on the cover had what looked to be puppets.
������ � Destiny looked a little closer.
"Nsync?'' She asked herself, confused, not noticing the salesclerk behind her.
������ � She hadn't listened to much pop lately besides Christina, so she had no idea who they were, but they were hot!
"Boy band" The salesclerk said, stepping out from behind Destiny.
"That's there second CD. I'm surprised you've never heard of them, they are oober popular." He continued.
������ Destiny considered this, and then decided she might as well check them out. � After browsing for a few more minutes, � she got her stuff together, and got in line. � She was next in line when she noticed a Seventeen magazine with Christina Aguilera on the cover. She picked it up and skimmed through it. � She shrugged and put it with the rest of her items.
������ Destiny walked out of Record Town and looked at her watch. '5:30, I still have half an hour 'till I have to meet Samantha' She thought. She was walking down the street toward Express, when a store caught her eye. It was a little shop, not scary, just out-of-place looking.� She decided Express could wait and walked toward the store.
������ When she walked in, Destiny took a look around.� It was amazing, the were trinkets of every kind. Suddenly, one thing caught her attention.� It was a small box, but the most elaborate item she had ever seen. It was inlaid with diamonds and rubies of every shape. It was carved with different patterns that looked like a different language. She didn't have to think twice before she went up to the counter to pay for it.
������ Destiny looked at her watch as she entered the restaurant. 'Just on time' She smiled. "Hey girl!" Destiny said when she approached the table.
Samantha gave her a sad smile, "Hey D"
Destiny noticed this and immediately filled with concern.
"Sam Sweetie, what's the matter?" Samantha sighed, she knew that this would happen.
"I don't want to talk about it right now, I'll tell you later though.� But I will tell you that Tyler and I are through for sure."
Destiny looked at her puzzled.
"Mmm ... look who just walked in.� Now if that ain't fine, then I don't know what is!" Sam said, checking out the three guys that just entered the restaurant.
������ One looked about 6'2," blonde curly hair, and beautiful ocean blue eyes.� He was wearing A blue and white flannel, open, over a white undershirt, and kaki cargo pants. Another one looked just a few inches shorter, Brownish/blackish spiky hair, and the most wonderful blue eyes she had ever seen.� He was wearing black leather pants, and a long sleeved red shirt. The last one was the shortest, he looked about 4 or 5 inches shorter than the first one. He had black spiky hair and big brown eyes. He was a little jumpy. He had on a pair of blue jeans, with a black t shirt that said Fuman Skeeto on it.
������� 'Yummy' Destiny thought.� The one with the spiky brown/black hair turned and smiled at her. When she realized she had been starring, she blushed and looked down. "Break me off a piece of that!" Samantha said referring to the curly haired blonde.
Destiny just smiled, still a little embarrassed that she had been caught, and turned toward her dinner.
