"Well hi there to you too honey" he said.
"Why aren't you watching him?" Riley questioned him.
"Because he is right over there" he said pointing him out.
"Did he come here?" Riley asked.
"Yeah but he invited us here. So it saved us the hassle of following him around the whole night" He said.
"Anything happen yet?" Riley drilled him.
"Riley stop thinking about work and think about us. I miss you" He said.
"Casey" Riley said sternly.
"I know, I know don't mix work us being together. But dammit we have been together for two years and I can't do anything with you in public" Casey said.
"If the agency found out we were together we could be kicked out of the force because of it" Riley said.
"Why do you always put work in front of me?" Casey asked now getting upset.
"Casey, the agency is my life. What I do without it?" Riley questioned him.
"You could go back to college and get a real job Riles" Casey said.
"You know that wouldn't satisfy me. All of people you should know that" Riley said.
"Riley, at any minute you could die and that thought doesn't make me sleep very well at night" Casey said.
"Oh and you don't think it's the same for me? How dare you say something like that to me!" Riley said in shock and anger.
Riley just looked at him with cold eyes then turned away. Riley walked back up to the upper deck of the club and saw three people staring back at her. Riley walked over and took a seat next to Chloe.
"Are you okay?" Chloe asked.
"Yeah. Why?" Riley asked.
"You look pale" Chloe said.
"I'm fine" Riley said and smiled at her.
"So did you go to that game?" Chloe said talking in code to her.
"Yeah the one I got invited to. So yeah all I did all night then was follow them around when we got to the club" Riley said.
"Didn't you say some people got into a fight that night?" Chloe asked.
"Yeah but it wasn't nothing big" Riley said.
"There they go again" JC said.
"What?" Justin asked confused.
"There speaking in the way that they do" JC said.
"There just talking about a night they had together" Justin said giving JC an odd look.
"Whatever man your just not getting it" JC said.
"I'm confused" Justin said.
"Man just keep your mouth shut. Hope there talking about my ass!" JC said in there direction.
"We're not" Riley said.
"Jut keep saying that Riley" JC said.
"I all ready told I liked your ass! What more do you need?" Riley said.
Suddenly everyone turned there attention to the stairs when they heard someone coming. Four guys in there mid-twenties walked through.
"Hello" Riley said quietly to Chloe.
"Wow" Chloe said to her.
"Riles it's your turn" Justin said.
"Oh okay" Riley said and stood up and took the pool stick from Chloe. Riley straighten her skirt out and walked over to the table to make the best shot. Chloe noticed the guys pointing over to Riley as she bend over the shot the ball. Her eyes traveled over to JC. She saw his eyes go to Riley then to the guys.
"Good shot girly" Chloe said to her as the ball landed in the pocket.
"Thank you" Riley said and walked over to where JC was and stood next to him.
"Clover come here" Riley said.
Chloe gave her a weird look and stood up as started to walk over to where Riley was and hear a guy whistle at her when Chloe walked over to her.
"You whore" Chloe said realizing what Riley did.
"I know but at least I'm no slut" Riley said smiling over at her.
"Hey I'm not ashamed of it" Chloe said.
Riley and Chloe both looked at each other and laughed at the same time.
"I will never get you two for as long as I live" Justin said.
"Buon, perch� ora posso parlarlo dietro la vostra parte posteriore e non saprete mai. Ch� scatto!" Chloe said.
"What did you just say to me?" Justin threaten her.
"She said good because now she can talk behind your back and you will never know. Then also stated that you were a jerk" A guy said coming from over the group of guys he was with.
"You know Italian?" Riley said coming interested.
"Born and raised in Agrigento but I'm living in Verona now" He said.
"My mother use to live in Catania. Her whole family is still there" Riley said.
"What's are there last name?" He asked.
"It's Marci" Riley said.
"I've heard that before. Wait your not Vincenzo granddaughter?" He asked shocked.
"Yeah, yeah that's my granddaddy" Riley said.
"Hi I'm Carmine Betro" He said.
Riley's eyes went to the size of golf balls.
"He talks about you all the time and of all places I meet you here" Riley said.
"Yeah it's crazy" Carmine said.
"Hey Carmen come on" A guy yelled at him.
"Voi ed il vostro amico siete bei. E dica al vostro amico che non sto andando rubarglielo via" Carmen said to them and walked away.
"Awww. He thinks were hot" Riley said.
"And he didn't like the stare down y'all were giving him either" Chloe said to JC and Justin.
"We weren't staring him down" Justin said.
"We just didn't know who he was" JC said in return.
"But I did" Riley said in a smart ass tone.
"Ouch shot down" Chloe said.
"Hey everyone it's time to go" Lonnie said.
After leaving the club and getting into the cars everyone started to drift in and out of sleeping. Everyone dragged themselves out of the cars and slowly made it up stairs. The girls waved to everyone as they got of on there floor they were all to tired to say any words. Chloe grabbed the key and opened the door and flipped on the switch. Before the girls turned the corner to go to there beds Riley grabbed Chloe. Riley pointed to the balcony door seeing it just a hair open. Riley and Chloe were awake now.
"Act normal" Riley mouthed.
Chloe nodded her head and walked around the corner and over to her bed.
"Tonight was fun wasn't it?" Riley said to Chloe.
"Defiantly. We will have to do that a few more times" Chloe said smiling and she sat on the edge on the bed to take her shoes off.
Chloe and Riley saw someone move outside.
"Get ready okay" Riley said.
"I can see you had fun tonight" Someone said from the balcony.
"Who's there?" Chloe asked.
Riley put her hands over her face to block out Chloe's retarded statement. Riley lifted her hands away and walked over to the balcony and opened the door. Chloe quickly walked over and switched the light on.
"I don't care who you are" Riley said giving the person a left then right punch and threw them over the 10 story balcony.
"Oh my" Chloe said coming out and looking down as she heard a thud
"Go inside" Riley said pushing her in and locking the door behind her, "Don't ever ask who they are again. They don't care who you are so you shouldn't either."
"Why must you always make me feel like I don't know what I am doing?" Chloe said getting angry with her.
"Because half the time it doesn't seem like it. That's why you are here with me to learn what you need to know. That means pointing out every flaw I see. I'm just trying to make you the best goddamn agent. So that one day I don't get a funeral invitation from your mother" Riley said and went into the bathroom.
Deep down Riley was right but she just seemed a little tough at times. Riley doesn't follow the rules at the agency but she gets away with it. Without her they wouldn't have gotten as may people as they have. She hasn't gotten captured which was unheard of for someone in the CIA for 5 years. Chloe would just be so much happy when she can finally do this on her own. When Chloe is done here is when she goes over seas for 3 years and gets trained some more to get familiar with the world. She would be going to England, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Russia, China, and India. That's the ones she only knew about.
But tomorrow is just another day in that life of a lie.
