chapter 3*
The lights finally came back on that day around noon. Danielle and Kimberly were now getting ready to go to work. They hadn't really talked much all day so they had a good conversation on their way to work.
"So how was your day?" Danielle asked.
"Alright. Good and bad." Kimberly said.
"What happened?"
"Well Justin told me he liked me...A LOT. And I think Joey found out or saw us when you came in the room and I was on top of Justin. Joey might of saw that and thought the total opposite. And so now he's being really sarcastic and rude to me. And from the start I could tell he liked me also because he always flirts with me."
"Ha! You're having guy problems too." Danielle laughed.
"Are you? What happened?" Kimberly asked.
"Well yesterday Lance told me he liked me and I told him I had to think about it. Then he left, he said he'd let me think about it. And then today, this morning I was playing basketball in the backyard and JC came over and we played for a while then we took a break and had a water fight. He was chasing me and we ended up behind the house and he almost kissed me, but I stopped him and told him that there were a lot of new things happening and I needed a little while, he understood."
"Wow! He almost kissed you?"
"Yep, and I really wanted to. But I knew it was too soon."
"Yeah."

"Andrew go pick up those drinks on that table." Danielle told one of her co-workers as she prepared a drink for someone.
"Okay." he said walking away.
"Kimberly! 15 minutes left!" Danielle said
"Okay."
15 minutes later...
"There you go sir. That'll be five dollars and 62 cents." Danielle said taking the money from him. "Thank you have a nice night." she said.
"Let's go!" Kimberly said walking up to her.
"Okay. Go tell Andrew to take over." Danielle said going into the back. As Kimberly went to tell Andrew they were leaving.

"She was outside in her backyard playing basketball. And I went over there, we played for a while and then we ended up having a water fight. I chased her behind the house and we were fooling around and I was going to kiss her but she stopped me. She said she wasn't ready and she couldn't do it." JC said to his 4 friends.
They were all back at their own house talking.
"YOU TRIED TO KISS HER?!" Lance said getting mad.
"Yeah, so...man why are you yelling?"
"I ASKED HER OUT FIRST. SHE SHOULDN'T CHOOSE YOU, YOU'RE JUST AN ASSHOLE!"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP LANCE, YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!" JC yelled.
"Whoa! Calm down guys! It's not a big deal." Chris said trying to stop the fight.
"YES IT IS!" they both said.
"Oh and hey Justin, who the hell do you think you are?" Joey said.
"What are you talking about?"
"I SAW YOU AND KIMBERLY...ALL YOU'RE GOING TO DO TO HER IS LEAD HER ON ONLY FOR SEX THEN LEAVE HER HANGIN'" Joey yelled.
"BULLSHIT! ALL YOU'LL DO IS PLAY HER LIKE THE REST OF ALL YOUR "BITCHES"!" Justin yelled.
Chris just sat on the couch watching the two fights, not knowing what to do.

Danielle drove up the driveway.
"What are they doing here?" Kimberly asked.
"I don't know."
Chris saw them and walked up to the car.
What's up with them?" Danielle asked.
"They've been fighting all afternoon...over liking you two."
"Us?" they both said.
"Yeah."
"O-K." Danielle drove up into the garage and turned off the car. Her, Kimberly, and Chris went inside and left the other 4 outside at each others throats.
They decided to play with them, so they locked the door. The guys finally realized that Chris wasn't there so they went to see if he was inside Danielle's and Kimberly's place. The door was locked.
"Come on Chris! Open the door!" Justin said pounding on the door.
Danielle, Kimberly, and Chris wanted to joke with them and since they were all mad at each other because of either Danielle or Kimberly, they decided to flirt A LOT and make them mad.
The 3 of them were in the hot tub in the pool room. Danielle went to answer the door.
They kept pounding on the door.
"Chris...why?...-WOW!" JC said staring at Danielle who was in her bikini.
"Hi guys, you can come in, make yourselves comfortable." she said then walking back into Kimberly's room.
Before she entered the room she said. "Would any of you like to join me and Kimberly in the hot tub?"
They all jumped up, running towards the room taking off their shirts. They went back to the pool and found Danielle, Kimberly, and Chris in the hot tub. Chris was in the middle with his arms around each of the girls.
"Hi guys. Um...can you please leave. As you can see I'm pimpin' right now." Chris said.
They all stood there in shock.
"Nevermind you Chris, we need to talk." Justin said
"Ok talk." Kimberly said
"Alright Joey's mad at me because I like you." he said
"That's all? What's the big deal then?" Chris said
"AND JC almost kissed Danielle." Lance said looking at Danielle.
"And your point is? So what if he kissed me or not! You barley had the fucking balls to tell me you liked me." Danielle said getting pissed.
"Wait! Wait, did he actually ask you out and you told him you'd think about it?" JC asked
"In some kind of way, yeah."
Everyone started to fight again. As Chris sat there once again not knowing what to do.
Then he thought of something.
"EVERYONE SHUT-UP!! I have something to say!" Chris said. As soon as he got everyone's attention he said:
"Ok...I love you both! I love you so much!" he said facing Kimberly and kissing her then he faced Danielle and kissed her too. The rest of the guys stood there in shock, couldn't believe what Chris just did.
'Dammit! Chris got to kiss them both before any of us' they all thought.
"There, no more fighting!...Their mine now!" Chris said Danielle and Kimberly laughed.
Justin, Lance, Joey and JC couln't take it anymore so they left the room.
"I think you scared them off Chris." Danielle said
"Yeah I think I did."
"Where'd they go?" Kimberly asked
"I didn't hear a door shut so they must still be here." he said
"I think we pissed them off!...But that was great Chris! That really set them off!..Did you see their faces?" Danielle said
"No problem, that's what I'm great at." he said leaning back and relaxing again.
"Your a dork Chris!" Kimberly said
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
"Am not!"
"Am not!"
"Are too!" he said
"HAHA! See you said it yourself!" Kimberly said
"You tricked me! Your a meanie!" he said getting out of the hot tub and dryed himself off, then he left the room and went back inside.
"I see how you are! Just leave us!" Danielle said
"That's right!" he shouted. He walked into the living room and saw four guys sitting on the couches watching tv. He went over to them and sat down.
"Who said you could be in here?" Justin said
"C'mon guys! I'm sorry! I was just playin' I didn't mean any of it. Just trying to make a little fun." Chris said defending himself
There was silence.
"Are you guys going to forgive me or not?" he asked
"We forgive you." they said.
"Thanks guys. So what's up?"
He heard mumbling and groans.
"Girl problems still?"
"Yes." they all said.
"Well if I were one of you, which I'm no, in a problem like this, which I'm no-" he got cut off.
"Chris, just get to the point." Joey said.
"Like I was saying, if I was in a problem like this I'd leave them alone for a while. Because c'mon guys they just moved here and all of you are already hounding them. Give them some space, just be their friends for starters. Not their wanna-be-lovers. You guys get what I'm sayin'?"
"Yeah."
"Thanks Chris."
"You're welcome."
All of a sudden they heard a loud scream and Kimberly came out of the room with only a towel on.
"I dare you to do it." Danielle said to Kimberly.
"NO! I'm not flashing them!"
The guys got interested.
"Yes, you said dare. So I dared ya!"
"Fine! I'll just get it over with." she said quickly removing the towel for 2 seconds then putting it back on and running back into her room.
"Yeah go cool off, you're pretty red." Danielle said as she walked towards the kitchen. She felt many eyes burning into her.
"What are all of you looking at?" she said without turning around.
"Nothing." they all said in unison.
She turned around and as she did heads turned the other way. She noticed that she still had her bikini on.
"Okay, since you guys seem to be having a staring problem I will go change my clothes." she said walking upstairs to her room and changed.

(Danielle's dream that night)
"God damn mower!" Justin said.
He stopped the lawn mower, it wasn't working so he bent down trying to fix it. His hand accidently hit the blade and he cut his finger.
"OW! That hurt." he said looking at his hand. "DAMN!" he said to himself.
"You okay Justin?" JC asked.
"Yeah I'll be fine I need to go clean this. I'll be back." Justin said walking into the house.
