they are a group of games (from I,II,III all the way up to X and soon to be realeased in england X-2 wich is there first follow on game. They are all in the RPG (role playing game ) catagory for the reason in each game you take on the role of a caracter the games are basicly stories with u as the leader/hero wateva it may be In FFVIII( 8 ) U take on the role of a young guy called SQUALL he is a Trainee seeD (member of the GARDEN(garden is a place where children and tennagers are trained to fight the sorceress(The main bad guy) and learn battle techniqes to defend themselfs) and later on in the game you become a full blown seeD then you say the wonderfull RINOA i Hate the name so i called her leanna but that jez me and ye i dont wana give away too much of the storie so ill jez leave it at that but people complare it to final fantasy VII wich is brilliant but frankly isnt as good as number 8 although still good all of them are they use brilliant battle technology but the reason why most people dont understand it is because the way you use things such as magic and gf(gardian forces) (wich are big beasty things that help u kill other bad big beasty things) is confusing and called the junction system i personaly got the hang of it and now can complete the game pretty easyly but ye so im leavin ya now bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
