Norse Units

Mythological Units

Frost Giant
Can freeze enemies for a limited amount of time with their attack "Frosty Breath". Melee units must finish the attack off by hacking the frozen unit to pieces.

Fire Giant
Fire Giants shoot flaming missiles that don't stop until they hit a unit. Said to be very strong.

Kraken
A quick naval unit, with the ability to hit ships with its tentacles doing a good amount of damage.

Gullinbursti
A quick Norse war boar, kicks with it's hind legs sending units into the air damaging them extensively!

Fenris Wolf
The quick and swift Fenris Wolf has the unique attribute of getting stronger when more wolves are around it.

Raven
This unit is used as a scout.

Treant
Use the god power called "Walking Woods" and it will change trees into Treants that you can use for a certain amount of time against enemies.

Nidhogg
You can only have one of these fire-breathing dragon babies in a game unfortunately, due to them being summoned with a god power. Has an attack bonus versus buildings.

Mountain Giant
Has mucho HP and fair attack. That's all we know for now.

Valkyrie
Unknown role.

Troll
The troll was to wield a bow and shoot arrows at enemies. But now, along with it's graphical changes, it seems that the troll will instead throw rocks at enemies, retaining it's ranged identity.

Undead Warrior
Unknown role.

.: Heroes

Hersir
A hero unit which is strong versus Mythological Units. This unit will be created at the Longhouse.

Normal Units

Longhouse Units

Ulfsark
Basic infantry which specializes against cavalry. Ulfsark is built from the Town Center and Longhouse. This unit also builds buildings for the Norse civilization since gatherers cannot build.

Throwing Axeman
Available in the second age, they do exactly what their name says, throw axes. Acts much like the Frankish Throwing Axemen in Age of Kings.

Huskarl
Heavy Combat unit.

Raiding Cavalry
A great raiding unit, but takes up multiple population slots.

Heavy Cavalry
Strong Cavalry melee unit.

Siege Workshop Units

Battering Ram
A cheap but weak ram.

Siege Tower
A melee siege unit that is very strong versus buildings.

Dock Units

Fishing Boats
Fishing boats gather food for your civilization by catching fishes. The fishing boat will not be able to attack or move when it is collecting the fishes. Fishing Boats do not have any attack so they should not be used as frontline troops.

Longboat
Ranged naval unit. Acts much like the galleys in Age of Kings.

Transport Ship
Transport units by water.

Siege Ship
Naval siege unit.

Ramming Ship
Melee naval unit that does a lot of damage to other ships. Acts much like the fire ship in Age of Kings.

Town Center Units

Gatherer
Norse gatherers can only collect resources. The only things gatherers can build are farms, to gather resources from them.

Dwarf
These units are the same as gatherers, but specialize in collecting gold and are not as good at gathering food or wood.

Ox Cart
At this unit, villagers can drop off resources. This unit which is trained at the Town Center, is ideal for a Norse city, because you cannot build drop off points like Greeks/Egyptians can.

Market Units

Trade Cart
These trade carts don't trade with markets, but with Town Centers, seeing as that's where resources are dropped off. They trade gold only with allied cities.
