Construction of a Painting

Due to camera malfunctions, The intire process won't be represented but there is atleast an idea of what i'm doing here. Since these pictures, alot of the painting has been finished. Mostly what you are looking at here is the underpainting. Everything looks funny because there is no color laid with the exception of a little green. A great deal of the painting as also been corrected because the various processes allow fer me to make a great deal of corrections. So what you see right now dosn't look that great.

This painting was started four years ago and i've been working on it off and on and since then i've improved on several areas but even though the painting is kinda out of date now, it still is a wonderful achievement for me because I am self taught and it has taken time to figure all this stuff out and perfect it.

This painting is really an experiment. So i'm playing around with a bunch of ideas and tricks here. You really learn a lot from each painting you do.

This is some of the beginnings of the painting. (yeah I know, the child looks bad, but through the process it will improve.)
