| herbal sachets are a lovely way to scent your home. put one by the bed for better sleep, one in the kitchen to whet your appetite, one in the drawer to scent your clothes, one in the hallway just to make you smile. how you use it is up to you, i just make them :) |
| these sachets are made with scented materials wrapped inside scraps of fabric and bundled attractively. the materials i speak of are bits of recycled paper scented with essential oils and bits of herbs and flowers for additional scent. the benefits of using recycled paper to hold the oils is quite easy to explain. one, it's better for the environment than cedar chips or some other mediums that have been used in other sachets. two, less people are allergic to or irritated by paper than wood shavings. three, there are three simple ways to release more scent from your sachet should it need "rejuvination". you can either noodle the bag around in your hands to "bruise" the paper and herbs, thus releasing more oils, or you can spray LIGHTLY with water or place near a heating source (but never on! watch out for fire safety) to release more scent from your sachet. as with other herbal products on this page, the sachets can be made with one or more herbs in the blend of your choice, but since these are such small and simple objects i'm able to offer a price list for some sample blends. email me for ordering info. |
