| flax-filled heating pads are ideal for muscle aches and pains, cramps, relaxing, or just warming up on a cold night. like the eye pillows, these can be made with either a blend of herbs or a single herb mixed into the flax. each time it's heated, and as it cools off, it gives off the scent of whatever has been blended in, a very comfortable sensation added to the heat :) |
| the generic size and shape for my heating pads is 2 feet by 9 inches, excelent for shoulders, back, abdomen, etc. they can also be made into specialty sizes at request. i'll make one that fits right around your neck and shoulders if you particularly need. i can also make a very narrow and ovalshaped pad that covers the abdomen very well and could be worn under clothing for cramps. any other size or shape not mentioned here is negotiable, and will be priced accordingly. my fabrics are mostly cotton, as little synthetic as possible. the interior is a fine weave to keep the flax and herbs in. the exterior can be any patern or color you can find, or you can leave it to me to find something for you. i use soft fabrics, so it's gentle on your body, but thin enough so you can still feel the weight of the flax and the heat radiating from it. i can also use thin fleece or flannel at your request. aditional "pillow cases" can be made just for your heating pad if you'd like something you can remove and wash. |
