Chapter 8

Abs had found out that Ritch was out with Billie at Beyond. So we grabbed our slingshots and headed out there. Lucky for us, there was an upper level we could sit at.

�Okay do you see them?� Abs asked. I looked down below to the dance floor.

�Not yet.� I told him. �They�ll appear soon enough.� We talked some more and came up with a strategy.

�Oh look! I see them!� Abs pointed down to the dance floor. Sure enough there they were. �You ready Lori?�

�I�ve never been more ready.� We both pulled out our slingshots and loaded them. �On the count of three.� We counted then let go. They went flying and hit Ritch square in the head!

I couldn�t stop laughing. The look on his face was a classic. Too bad as soon as we saw it we had to duck to keep from gettign caught. So Abs and I were hiding underneath our table.

�Did you see his face?� I asked abs. He responded by cracking up laughing.

�Okay, I think it�s time for another round.� Abs suggested. I nodded. WE got up and found a different table.

I drove home listening to Esmerelda babble on about Sherrie. She then started in on me being mean to Addie.

�J, I can�t believe you acted like that. That was so childish and immature. And especially to my friends daughter.�

�Your friend�s daughter is old enough to be her sister. And you just don�t understand the situation.�

�It still wasn�t appropriate or nice.� I couldn�t believe she was acting like this! She sounded like someones mother. We were supposed to go to a club, but I didn�t know if I could handle any more time with her. She was getting to annoying.

�Esmerelda, I don�t care what you say. I don�t want to go out with you anymore. So I�m gonna take you to your flat.� She was stunned. But I don�t care. I don�t need her lectures.

~Kelly~

I didn�t want the night to end. We were having so much fun together. Sean was so sweet! He always knew exactly what to say. And he treated me with respect and like an equal. Not many guys do that.

We danced for some of the time, but mostly we talked. Scott and Addie on the other hand danced the entire time. And they looked really good together too. They were definately the best dancers out there.

Well around two in the morning they came back to our table. Sean and I were talking about the two so had to shut up quite fast.

�Kelly, sweets, you ready to go? I�m kinda tired. This boy here wore me plum out.� Addie said poking Scott in the stomach.

�Yeah Sean. J might be gettign worried about you. I promised him I�d have you home early.� Addie began laughing.

�Early for J is probably like 10 at night. Since he has no friends or dates or girlfriends...� Addie began her babbling. I tuned her out and went back to Sean.

�I better go. I have some stuff I have to do early tomorrow morning. Sleeping one of them. I had a really good time tonight Sean. Call me sometime.� I quickly kissed him on the cheek. Scott and Addie then began making stupid comments, as usual.

�Oh look Sean�s getting some!� Scott laughed. Addie hit him over the head but kept laughing. All of us then headed for the parkign lot. Scott and Addie ahead of us making dumb comments as usual.

�Um, kelly, do you think I could have your phone number?� Sean asked shyly. I quickly scribbled it down for him. By that time we were at Addie�s car.

�Geez, addie you�re loaded babe!� Scott exclaimed. �This is one dang nice car. You�re gonna have to let me drive it sometime.�

�Sure Scott.� Addie told him as she got in the drivers seat. �Kelly you coming or not? I got some revenge to plan.� I climbed in and we told the boys goodbye and headed for home.

~Lori~

Abs and I had a blast annoying ritch at Beyond. He never even suspected it was us. We finally got to my flat around 2 in the morning. �My roommates are probably worried sick about me.� I said.

�Oh well, at least you were in good hands.� he replied.

�I�m not so sure about that...� I played back. �I mean look at your hands. They don�t look so good to me.� The next second Abs leaned in and kissed me. A little bit later I heard Addie�s voice.

�Dang everyone�s getting some lovin tonight, huh Kelly?� Abs and I pulled away with a quickness. (Hahahahaha, had to do that!). �So Abs tell me, what flavor of lip gloss does Lori have on tonight?�

�Addie, what are you two doing out so late?� I asked her.

�Well, I took Kelly here out clubbing with Sean and Scott. And boy did Sean and Kelly ever hit it off. They were so hot Scott and I had to pour water on them.�

�That�s so not what happened.� Kelly said blushing.

�Oh yeah, Abs, this is our roommate Kelly. Kelly, this is Abs.� I introduced the two.

�So Kelly, you like Sean?� Abs asked her.

�I guess you could call it that. Geez, this is so embarrassing, I�m going to bed.� Kelly then pushed past us and went into the apartment.

�Come on Lori, time to go in now. You can see Abs tomorrow sweets.� Addie told us. She then pushed me into the apartment and shut the door.

�I�ll call you tomorrow Lori!� I heard Abs yell through the door.

�Yeah, that�d be nice!� I yelled back.
