chapter 26

~Lori~

We couldn’t wait for them to get back from getting their “marriage” annulled. They were going to be so mad. Hopefully they could take a joke.

We were talking about what might happen when we heard someone open the door to our flat. In entered J and Addie still screaming at eachother.

“It’s not my fault!” Addie yelled at J.

“It so is!” J yelled back. For some reason they were still mad at eachother and not us.

“So guys,” Abs started, “How did the annulment go?”

“Well, the guy there said he was tired of couples getting married spur of the moment then getting annulments and divorces. So he wouldn’t give it to us.” Addie spat out with complete disgust in her voice. I looked at Abs, should we tell them it was a joke?

Abs looked at me with the same shock on his face. “Worse part is, they’re assigning us to a marriage counselor, and we have to have marriage counseling, plus we have to live together and stay married for three months.” J added. “How am I supposed to live with HER for three months?” J pointed at Addie.

“You got the better part of the bargain. I have to live with YOU!” Addie shouted at him. I wonder if everyone was in the complete state of shock I was in. Things weren’t supposed to go this far. By the looks on everyone’s face they were.

~Scott~

Okay, Matt our manager was mad about the whole J being married thing, but now that he really is married, he’s going to pissed. We’ll never hear the end of it, especially J. How are we going to explain to the press about J and Addie living together?

“Just because we’re living together,” Addie started, “doesn’t mean I like you.”

“Don’t think I like you either.” J told her back. Here we go again, them fighting again. They said that the government said they had to move in together by this Friday. So we had to move them in today because we’re kinda leaving together.

To work everything out, Sean offered to move out of his and J’s flat and move in with Kelly and Lori. And Addie moved into his room.

“How much junk do you have Addie?” J yelled at her. We had filled four cars full of her stuff. “You’re only going to be here three months at max.”

“Well, I can’t be getting bored around her and be nice to you. Besides most of its clothes.”

“Wait! You took all your clothes!?” Lori screamed out in protest. “That’s like half of my wardrobe!”

“You have a point there. Guess you’ll just have to come over a lot or I can come back to our flat a lot.”

“Please let it be you leaving.” J pleaded with her. I feel bad about doing this to them. They shouldn’t have to be living together when they dislike eachother so much.

It was around ten at night. Addie was begging everyone to stay, we had finally gotten her moved in. “Scott, stay here please!” She begged grabbing on to my shirt.

“Addie, love, I would really like to, but I haven’t even begun to pack.” She asked everyone but we all had things to do. I really do feel bad. Even J was begging for us to stay. But we all left. I was the last one to leave. As I shut the door I heard J and Addie arguing again. This was going to be a rough three months.

~Kelly~

“Can you believe they wouldn’t let them get it annulled? Are we going to tell them it was a joke?” I asked Lori and Sean as we drove home. As nice as having my boyfriend live with me, it’s not going to be the same without Addie.

“No! If we tell them now, they’re both going to kill us. And this time it’s going to be a lot worse than the stunt at that restaurant last time.” Lori told me.

“They’ll be fine. They’ll just stay out of eachother’s way.” Sean pointed out. This was true. We headed up to our flat and looked around. Sean’s stuff was all over the place too. I helped him push it into Addie’s room. The place wouldn’t be the same without her.
