~Ritchie~
Billie and I were out at lunch when she announced that she thought her little brother and Brittany would look cute together.
“Excuse me?” I spit out all my water.
“They would. It would get Brittany out of your hair if it worked.” I thought about this. It would. But then I remembered what happened when Billie tried to hook up J and Addie.
“Billie, do you remember what happened with J and Addie? Those two hate eachother more than ever now.”
“No they don’t. And I will find out what happened that night. Anyways call Lori and find out Brittany’s number and I’ll call Daniel and see if he’s interested in going out on a double date with us.”
“I don’t want to go on a date with Brittany!” I whined. Billie sent me one of her you do it or else looks. I knew I had to. I picked up my mobile and dialed Abs’ number to get Lori’s.
~Lori~
“What?! Billie wants to hook up Brittany and her brother? That is too funny! She’s probably trying to keep Brittany away from Ritchie.” I laughed when Abs told me this.
“Isn’t it crazy? We should go with them on their date. They’re going with Ritchie and Billie. And we should bring our slingshots.” Abs suggested. I smiled. My evilness was beginning to rub off on Abs.
“That’s a great idea. I’m going to call Billie right now and confirm it.” I dialed the number Abs gave me and talked to Billie for a few minutes. When I hung up Abs was curious as to what was going down.
“Well, what’s going on?”
“Tomorrow night, all six of us will go to the London Zoo then have dinner at some really fancy resteraunt, probably McDonald’s if it’s up to Brittany. Then I’m thinking that maybe we can go to some really packed place where we can have um, target practice.” Abs smiled then kissed me. This was going to be fun.
~Scott~
It was a couple day’s before Addie’s big party. Val and I decided to go shopping for some new clothes for the party. We were in a store when I saw an all too familiar face.
“Hi Scott.”
“Hi Jennifer. I thought you were in America doing infomercials?” Jennifer hadn’t talked to her since that ugly night at the Blue Oyster. Well I had, but it was just her calling to tell me that she was headed for America to do infomercials.
“Well I am. But I decided to bring my boyfriend,” she really stressed that word. Maybe she was trying to make me jealous, wasn’t working, “back to England to see everything.”
Just then Val came up with a blue shirt. “Scott I think this would look really good on you.” Jennifer gave her the evil eye. “Scott who is this ugly heffer?”
Oh you should have seen the look on Jennifer’s face. It was a classic. That is one time I wish a million reporters had been around. “Um, Val, this is Jennifer, my ex-girlfriend.” I managed to get out between bursts of laughter.
Jennifer was mortified. Without saying anything else she ran away and went to some fat balding American guy and the two left the store. But things get even better. Jennifer had been “trying on” new bracelets when she saw me and I guess forgot she had them off and set off the alarm. Policeman were now swarming her. Too bad for her.
~Sean~
Kelly and I were at the zoo when we saw Ritchie, Billie, Abs, Lori, Brittany and some other boy.
“Hey Ritchie!” I called out. He saw us and waved then the group headed over towards us.
“Hi Sean. What are you two doing here?” Ritchie said when he got there.
“Oh, just looking at some animals. And you?” We knew what they were doing. Lori had informed us what was happening that morning when I went to pick up Kelly.
“We’re on a triple date. That’s Billie’s brother. He’s Brittany’s distraction to keep her away from me.”
“Aww, but you two are so cute together.” Kelly told him. “You both wear the same kind of lip gloss.” I cracked up laughing. Kelly could be a riot when she wanted to. Lori and Abs were cracking up too. Billie was over with Brittany and her brother trying to hook them up. She was always playing matchmaker.
“That is true. Brittany does have good taste in lip gloss.” Ritch babbled on about lip gloss flavors and such. I tuned him out pretty quick then looked at Kelly’s lips. I wonder what type of lip gloss she’s wearing?
~Lori~
Abs and I were biding our time. We couldn’t wait to bring out our weapons of choice. Brittany was kind of upset that she wasn’t going on a date with Ritchie. But I think she might like Daniel, Billie’s brother, some. I really hope so. He’s more her age.
“Lori!” I looked up and saw Brittany running at me full speed. She came up to me panting.
“What Brittany?”
“He kissed me!” She whined pointing to Daniel. “He knows I’m saving myself for Ritchie. He know’s Ritchie’s my fiancee.”
“Brittany, we’re not engaged.” Ritchie tried to tell her. But she put her hands over her hears and pretended not to listen. I began laughing. Poor poor confused Brittany. “Lori, do something about your sister.” Ritch pleaded.
Billie had gone over to try and talk to Daniel about what he did. Bet you anything she had put him up to it. “Brittany sweetie, if a boy kisses you, it means he likes you.” I tried to explain to her.
“But I don’t want any other boy, I only want Ritchie.” She stared dreamily at him. Oh this was too great. She then pulled out her camera and began taking more pictures of him.
“LORI!!!” he whined before running off towards Billie with Brittany right on his heels. Sean, Kelly, Abs and I laughed as we walked off leaving the happy couple alone.
