Heidi took the opportunity of no school to buy a few things for her plans. J would be so sorry he messed with her. She stopped in a few stores and picked up some supplies. She then headed back to J's flat.
When she got there she noticed all her stuff was back. "Well that's good." she said to herself. She then noticed the red light blinking on her machine. She pressed the play button curious as to who would be calling during the middle of the day when she and J were both gone.
"J, it's Katie. I just want to say that I'm sorry I tried to make you choose between me and Heidi. It's just that Heidi..."Heidi couldn't belive her ears as she heard the message. It was from Katie to J. Throughout the entire thing Katie completely bashed Heidi and said some pretty mean stuff about her. Not to mention she had tried to make J stop hanging out with Heidi.
By the time the message was finished Heidi was totally confused. First she couldn't beleive it that one of her so-called friends would say so much mean stuff and lies about her. Secondly she was confused and wondered if Katie had ever bashed her before to J and he hadn't even stood up for her or anything. Third she was just mad and hurt. No one deserves to be badmouthed.
The first thing she did was to call Abs on his mobile. There wasn't anything that could make her stay there a second longer.
"Hello?" Abs had picked up on the first ring.
"Abs, can i come and stay with you?"
"Heidi, what's wrong?" Heidi then proceeded to tell Abs the whole story. By the end Abs had thought of something. "Maybe Katie left that message just for you. Maybe she wants you to move out. But you can't let her win. You have to stay."
Heidi hadn't even thought of that possibility. "Thanks Abs. You just might be on to something. I'll keep you up to date. And remember don't tell J anything." After they hung up all the guys asked him who had been on the phone since he had been on it so long.
"Oh, nobody." He said and turned back to the magazine he had been reading before Heidi called.
"Yeah it was. It was Heidi." Scott pointed out. "I heard you say 'Hi Heidi'. So how's the girl?" Everyone's eyes were on him.
"She's fine. She was just calling to tell me about her school. It got knocked down by a wrecking ball today." Everyone's jaws dropped. They then all cracked up laughing. A school getting knocked down by a wrecking ball? Too good to be true.
"Why didn't she call me and tell me?" J asked aloud. "I'm only her best friend." None of the guys wanted to say anything. Heidi had complained to almost all of them how J had been ignoring her eversince he had started going out with Katie. And the only way she could get his attention was if she pulled a prank on him or something.
"She probably couldn't find your mobile number," Sean suggested.
"That's absurd. She's called me on it millions of times."
"Maybe um, she couldn't get through for some reason." Scott told him.
"Then why didn't she ask Abs if she could talk to me?" No one knew what to say again. "Abs is there something going on between the two of you?" Abs shook his head.
Heidi looked around the flat. Yes, everything was perfect for J when he got home. She smiled wickedly to herself. "Jason Paul Brown, you are so dead. But not as dead as that little girlfriend of yours." Heidi said to herself.
Eversince she had heard that message Heidi's game plan had changed. It was no longer just bother J, it was now break up J and Katie. Heidi then picked up the phone. It was time to ring Katie and put her plan into action.
