Chapter 5
“I don’t wanna go hang out with my brother! He’s such a nerd!” Evy complained to Aurora while getting ready to go see her brother. He had finally gotten home and her mum was making her go and see him.
“Just call him and tell him you’re sick. Then come and meet my brother. I know you’ll like him right away. He and Kristina went on one date, but they had some differences.” Evy pondered this idea.
“I think I will. I do believe I’ll call him and tell him I can’t come. I uh...hmm....got a cold. Yeah that’s good.” Evy picked up the phone and dialed her brother’s number.
“Hi, it’s me Evy. I’m kinda sick tonight. Can we have a raincheck? No you don’t’ need to come see me. No need for you to get sick too. Yeah, you too. Bye.” Evy hung up the phone and smiled. “No hanging out with retardo brother for me!”
“Goody! You gotta come with me to see my brother. He’s gonna have all his friends there. They live together in a party house. He always has really good parties. Now go get changed.” Aurora commanded. Evy ran into her room and thought of what to wear. She decided to wear her favorite pair of jeans that had holes all over them and her blue plaid men’s shirt. She threw on her blue converse all stars and ran back out.
“K, I’m ready. Let’s go. Hot guys here I come.” Aurora gave her the once over.
“Go change your jeans. You look like trash.” Evy got an offended look on her face, but she walked in there and put on a different pair of jeans. Finally Aurora was satisfied. “Okay let’s go.” Aurora grabbed her car keys and they walked out to the car.
“You are so gonna love J. He’s the greatest. Too bad Kristina’s out with Fre tonight. Those two are like so serious. It’s kinda funny.”
The two pulled up to the house and got out. They walked to the door and walked right inside. “J, we’re here!” Aurora yelled out.
