"Kaye! Get over here!" The director yelled. Kaye was getting warmed up for that day of shooting when he yelled at her. Kaye stopped warming up and walked towards him.
"Yeah?" He then shoved a paper in front of her face.
"What's the meaning of this!?!?! You could have been killed!!! I cannot have my star risking her life!!!" Kaye grabbed the paper and looked at it. Somehow word had gotten out that she had saved her friends and Five from a faulty lift. And now she was being deemed a hero.
"Sorry. But my friends were in there. Along with Scott, my sidekick. So you know if I didn't do that, there goes my sidekick."
"Who cares!!! He's replaceable. All I would have to do to replace him is go outside and yell that I needed a sidekick for you. Guys would come running from miles around. Now go finish warming up!!!"
"Sorry. Next time my friends are in trouble I'll think about this movie first before I do anything. Okay?"
"That's my girl!" Kaye shook her head as she walked back.
She had heard stories about how this director was crazy and difficult to work for. Now she knew why. As she continued with her warming up she was interrupted again. "Kaye?" she turned around and saw Scott.
"Hey Scott." He then enveloped Kaye in a hug. "Scott, are you okay?" Scott quickly pulled away.
"Yeah, sorry. It was just yesterday, sitting in that lift, kinda scared me. You know all those things that say what if you die tomorrow, did your friends know you loved them. Well just wanted to thank you for giving me another chance." Kaye thought it a little strange, but thanked Scott anyways. Pretty soon the director(I can't remember his name) was yelling at them to start filming. They got into their places and began their work for the day.
"I am so tired!!" Scott whined to Kaye as they left the studio. "I don't think I've ever worked that hard before in my life."
"Yeah! Isn't it great!" Kaye exclaimed. She loved the action and excitement of filming. But her favorite parts where the martial arts and fight scenes. Scott sent her a look like she was crazy.
"Kaye. We. Just. Worked. For. Twelve. Hours. Straight. Hard. Tough. Physical. Work. And you call that great? Girl we need to get your head straight." Kaye just laughed at him and got into his car. On the way to Kaye's flat they talked about the two's different definitions of fun.
"Well you seem to think that being the center of attention is great fun. I don't." Kaye pointed out.
"True, true. But it is great fun!" After Scott dropped her off Kaye went up to her flat, by way of the stairs. She had decided that day to move to a different flat. She just couldn't stay at some place that had almost killed her friends. As she walked down her hallway Kaye noticed something about her flat. The door had been broken down. Kaye ran the rest of the way to her door.
She looked around at her trashed flat. Furniture was turned over, pictures were off her walls, anything breakable was smashed. And on the wall, written in blue spray paint was a message. "Your friends were lucky last time. Next time they won't get off so easy Kaye. Watch your back. And watch your friends' backs if you know what's good for them."
The first thing that came to Kaye's mind was not to touch anything and to call the police. After she called the police she called Ritchie who said he'd be right over. Kaye sat down shaking. She didn't know what to make of anything. So she sat and waited for someone to come and make her feel safe.
