Background:
Morden was born in a commune of psions. His powers began to manifest around his 5th birthday, and his parents began his training. However, this was to be shortlived, for the commune was attacked by an organization of magic users who feared the power of the psions. Morden survived by hiding in the cellar of his parents home. He wasn't the only survivor, though. An elven woman managed to escape, but Morden wouldn't meet with her until years later. As of yet, the only clue Morden has to the identity and whereabouts of the organization that slaughtered his commune is an undecipherable glyph. Morden was found days after the attack by a band of barbarians who raised him from that time on. Morden was trained in the use weapons by these barbarians, and combined that training with his psionic prowess and became a psychic warrior. He has vowed to find and destroy the band of magic users that was the death of his family, and will take any means neccessary to do so, short of sacrificing innocent lives.

About the character:
The picture is an artist's rendering of Elric of Melnibone, one of my favorite fantasy characters. It is actually a coincidence that Morden's features matched so closely with Elric's. I had decided to have Morden be an albino pretty much on a whim. It is also cool that the facial expression matches Morden's general attitude of grim determination. At any rate, Morden is one of my favorite characters, though right now I am not currently running him.
