Background:
Ielenia was born to a community of elves near the city of Greyhawk. From birth it was obvious that Ielenia was different from the other elves in the community. She had a sadistic streak that only got worse as she grew up, despite the best efforts of her parents and friends. When she reached puberty, her penchant for sadism manifested itself in ways the elves will not even mention, much less talk about. It was decided, after a series of mysterious deaths of some of the younger male elves in the community that Ielenia be banished. She left the community, and went searching for something, though she didn�t know what. It was then that she found a priestess of the goddess Danai. Danai�s teachings suited Ielenia well, and she became a powerful cleric in her own right. She then met a woman named Sabine (now deceased), and worked with her as a cohort. Since Sabine�s death, Ielenia has taken over the responsibilities of running the Cult Of The Loving Lash, a small, mysterious organization dedicated to the worship of Danai.
