As all deities are to, I started my civilization.  I, being young and oh so spirited within the ways of the evil, I created minions of darkness and of the deep.  I do not regret anything to this day as I have grown old and wise.  I wished and had always wished for an evil civilization.  Don't ask why, never ask an evil deity why she decieded to create an evil civilization.  No deity can tell ye the truth of his or her plan to their minion's life.  I will only tell you my story.  I decided that if I were to start a civilization, it would be started by a woman of the elven race and lead by my mischevious mind and desires.  I came to her in the only form I knew, a spider.  Another thing I feel I shall tell ye about deities is that every deity has a form of some earthly, celestial, or abyssal form.  I was given the form of a spider which my people have come to respect out of fear.  This elven queen that I shall not name, for she has many, had a twin, which was very unusual to have for an elf.  She was thrown out of favor within her family and felt jealousy over it.  I took this to my advantage instead of pitying her, which I rarely ever do.  I lured her into my plan, giving her the information only of what she wanted, not my advantage or part in it.  Being as naive as she was, she did not even ask why I told her that everything was to her advantage and where a spider could get so much information.  And of course, I never needed to explain or show my self within body until she told a cleric of her coming to such a spider.  He gave her a look of suspicion as I slapped my spidery face with one of my eight legs while sitting upon her shoulder and listening to her conversation.  Later that night, after looking at his book of deities, the cleric found the Queen of Spiders.  Taking a risk at summoning a deity was great, but I guess that he was quite determined and gave a shot at it anyways.  The picture above shows this male cleric summoning me as myself to the middle earth.  At a most, I was young and stupid.  And did not have much of a care for rules or objections, therefore I did not follow them.  This man asked of me and my plans with the Elven queen within second line and I looked at him, straight into his brown eyes.  I laughed, or actually cackled and stepped from the low alter to get a closer reach.  He looked upon me as I walked carefully and cat-like from the table alter.  I then pulled a dagger from a hidden reach and bid him to rise.  He rose as I told him, but shivered all over as I plunged the dagger into his heart.  The dagger, twist edged and used for a slow and painful death, I twisted and twisted in circles of pain as he gasped out blood.  I pulled the dagger from his body and dropped it to the ground, then disappeared back to my domain of the deites.  There I was blamed upon, for a young deity was not to kill a being of the middle earth by his or her own hand.  There I was cursed to carry not only the form of what they called a disgusting spider but to be a drider as well.  When ever I was to wage war I would take the form of a drider.  But only during the half year, six months to stay.  I came to the second Elven queen and told her my plan was to start.  She did as I told her, by gathering groups of powerful elves and educated them in the ways I told her to; that elves who refused to join the group of the more powerful elves were evil and to be discarded of.  By this, the Elven deity was enraged and decided that these teachings were to be stopped.  He came to me and demanded an explanation.  I only shrugged and pledged war against him.  He, enraged, stomped off.  I decided that now was the best time to react and if anything went wrong then I knew exactly what I would do.  There was no way I could lose.  I thought partially wrong.  I ordered my Elven queen to allow the warriors to begin their raid parties.  When the message got to the warriors, they gleefully readied their weapons and raided the elven world.  Burning small villages and pillaging the farms and isollated houses.  Taking and killing everything within their path.  The world soon had a period where it was drenched in elven and faerie blood.  It was a moment of history, and, was entered into the book of elven history.  But it didn't last for long since the Elven god had many more men.  So very soon the marching elves came.  Hundreds, thousands, MILLIONS!  They all came in the word of vengence.  Taking down every "Drow".  When I was down to only a couple hundred, I opened the gates to The Underdark, their new home.  Where they now live in the fear that if they didn't obey the reason they were there, then they would feel my wrath!
