The following morning the birds waked her up. She noticed she was feeling a little better then yesterday. Still there was this empty space in her heart that was left behind when her teacher died. She tried not to think of it. Then she stroked her cheeks. They were still burning a bit. She silently says a few words and the burning feeling on her cheeks was gone. When she went down, very silent, she took some bread and walked back to the river place where she was yesterday. The body of her teacher was still laying on the moss. Only this time she noticed that there were some flowers growing around him. And even one in his beard. Nature had accepted him and his soul was gone. Far away from this world. In a beautiful place she guessed. She sat next to him and looked in the water. There she could see that her cheeks were looking the same like always. The rest of the day she sat there. Just looking around and listening to the birds that were singing songs to her. Sometimes humming along with the tune. Birds gathered around her and some little animals listened to her when she was humming. When she realized what time it was she stood up. Pulling one flower out of the ground and laying that on the body of her teacher. ,,Rest in peace my mentor. I will never forget you.� Then she stood up and ran back to her house. When she came there the sun was already going under and her mother was putting plates and forks on the table. Elong decided to help her mother a bit. Then her dad came home. He walked towards to Elong and showed her a necklace. ,,So, make yourself useful and tell me what this is. Some customer trade it with me for a dress. It looks special to me.� Elong looked at it, took it in her hand and turned it on the back. There she saw one rune. She gave it back to her father and told him. ,,It is an amulet that gives you some protection against attacks. But it only has one rune in it. So it is not that very good.� Her father turned red again. And slapped Elong again in the face. ,, I traded it for one of my best dresses!� Then he slapped her again and Elong fall down on the ground. Pan running toward his father. In his fury he hits Pan. Then he looked shocked at what he has done. Her mother seeing this happening starts crying soft. Then he looked even more angry at Elong. ,, Look what I did because of your fault. I hit my own son!� Pan strokes his cheek. Then her dad starts kicking her. ,, DAD!! Don�t do that.� Pan holding her father back, giving Elong time to roll back on her side and stand up. Her father looking more red then he already was and her mother in panic. Then suddenly without thinking Elong hits her father right in her face. Her mother screams. She looks at him as angry as she can. Her dad a bit puzzled about what just happened. ,,This was the last time you ever hit me!� She said with an angry voice. Then she ran upstairs. Hearing her dad yelling and her mother screaming. She realized that it is her brother who was still holding her dad back. She quick took her bag and put some of her dresses in it. She pulls the blanket from her bed and takes a bedroll out of the closet of her brother. Then before she wanted to leave through the window she realizes that she forgot the box. She stops for a moment. Someone coming up really quick, and according to the loud steps it makes, also very angry. Quick she looks in her closet and finds the box. Putting that in her bag, she closes it and looks out of her window. A lian was climbing next to her window. Carefully but as quick as she can she grabs it. Climbing down and at the moment she sets one foot on the floor she can hear the door of her room opening. Her dad runs to the window and sees Elong standing on the ground. In some angry movement he picks up the little chair she has in her room and throws it to her. ,, Don�t think you may ever come back you bastard child! Never ever we will talk in this house about you anymore! Do you hear me! Never!!!� Then he closes the window with such a force that the glass breaks. Elong cries and walks of. Away from her home. Into the dangerous wilds.
After she ran a few minutes she stopped for a moment. Heaving breathing she could still see her house between the trees. She sits down for a moment while the hot tears run over her cold cheeks. The pain in her heart was big. She stands up again and looks at the house. Then softly she starts to sing

With a deep breath she starts walking again.
Her bag was getting heavier and her stomach started to talk to her. She was hungry and tired. Through the leaves of the trees she could see that the moon was already standing high in the sky. Her feet were killing her.. She never walked that long. Well maybe she did when she was younger. Her father was a merchant and ones a year there was a big meeting of all the merchants all around this world. They came together to buy clothes from each other and even share some secrets with each other. Elong always liked to go there. There were nice people and they always gave her and her brother some sweet candies. And there was this woman who was always so nice to her and her brother. She always watched them when her dad needed to go to some little meeting, or while he was shopping. Elong shake her head. Some tears came in her eyes and she wiped them away. Those were some short happy days of her life. But now she started a new journey. And she needed to focus.. Cause there were dangerous wolfs in the wilds, not even speaking of some evil druids.
