Dr. Friederich Klaus
Dr. Friederich Klaus was born in Austria. He moved to the United States during "the great war", and was employed as a psychologist in the asylum on Port Penn island.

From the dealings the group had with him, we know that he was the primary doctor for
Ambrose Leighe.  After the hospital itself closed, Dr. Klaus was kept on by Penelope Davies to watch over Ambrose, who was the last remaining patient.

Dr. Klaus suffered an accident while keeping his solitary watch over Ambrose, and both of them perished on the island in the early 1930's.
