| Kenneth Blum was a chief executive with the HBO Corporation, so work and his new life has kept him away from his children most of their lives. He sends money and the occasional gift, but otherwise his involvement has been minimal. It was his mother, Parres, who took care of Phaedra & Claude and continued to teach them to love the arts. | Dorothy (nee' Horowitz) Blum works with as an executive with a non-profit organization benefitting the arts council. She is a tough-as-nails woman who has little patience for her daughter, and overlooks her son's gang involvement. She is very tight with money and influential in the community. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| Phaedra's older brother, Claude is 25 years old, has a lot of artistic talent, but does little with it, unlike his sister. He has run with a gang (Dragons) since he was 16, but prides himself on keeping things legit. He has always been highly protective of Phaedra, refusing to let her just run with the gang and instead made sure she continued her education and art. Claude has been the person Phaedra trusts the most. He has been missing for several months. |
