David Schmidt began writing at the age of ten.� By Fifteen he completed his first epic fantasty, The Rings of Cerrth, followed by Only Ashes, at age eighteen.
� David is currently working on shorter pieces for ESPer, though he plans to have completed a sci-fi novel titledThe Ruins of Horizon, by May 2001.� Ruins is the first of David's Anacra series, which we will see more of in the near future.� Sample chapters and excerpts from Ruins will be published in ESPer and on the website as they become available.
� David is a versitile writer, and he does not subscribe to any specific genre.� He instead builds his world around his characters and their dynamic interations.
