I see you through this window

I try to find a door a lock anything to get to you

Nothing

There is only a window

I beat it kick it punch it to get to you

It doesn’t break

Just stays where it is

Between me and you

So I sit here

I watch you

As you go about your day

Just another normal day to you

You don’t see the window

So you don’t see me

I want to talk to you

I yell scream shout try to get you to look

You don’t hear me through this window

All I can do is sit here and watch

As you live your life without seeing me

I watch from a distance

Through the window I watch forever
