Kill em all
I like this album because it has a very raw and in your face style.  The sound and genre metallica created, thats all their own.  They are truely unique, and mature in later albums, but there is something truely refreshing about their first album.  The flame of youth burns bright in this one.  James hetfield is a stunning rhythm guitarist, and the riffs in kill em all have a raw crunch that any metalhead would appreciate.  Kirk Hammetts leads are lightning fast, impressive and raw.  Having both Kirk Hammett and Dave Mustaines (megadeth) contributions on the album bring something special to kill em all and make it a nice piece of metal history.  Cliff Burton was an amazing bass player and is still remembered by fans today after he died in a tour bus accident in sweden in 1986 .  His bass solo on the album is way past raw and insane. the world lost a great musician when he died.  The drums are like the rest of the album, fast and in your face, pounding past you at 100mph.  The vocals on the album are not nearly as good as they are in later albums but they fit nicely with this one.  Pure attitude drives this album and i highly recommend it to fans of heavy, fast and angry music.
