The Fallen Angel
Lucifer is the angel who, in the traditional myths, was expelled from the hierarchy because he wanted to much power. He is ofter though as a being seductive and evil, yet his name means 'light'. Another perspective on Lucifer is to see hum not as a bronger of evil, but as the closest companion to the human journey. If we see the choice to seek knowledge and experience not as a 'fall' but as an evolutionary journey, then we may see Lucifer as the angelic being who made an important sacrifice in order to journey along with us. His light enables us to see the darker side of things, by casting the shadow from which we learn the lessons of evolution
